NO .............. but i think LRF should still exist but the (10) should be reduced to 3-5 for obvious reasons.

Is it really a fair and democratic vote if posters are allowed to use their 'alter ego' identities (some have more than 2) ?

At least one individual on here has enough user names to have his own division ..... very sad.

Well done again all you non posters landing a nice 7/2 shot , kinda took the gloss off my 45 minutes of studying and finishing with a 100/30 winner.Sad
I really am 100% against LRF simply because I don't think anyone should be awarded for not playing but I am for rest days to cover people who find it difficult to post on a Daily Basis whether it's 3, 5 or whatever I am happy to leave that in the good hands of the settlers.

im actually swinging round to LRF but they should not prosper from those that actually tip. so keep the rules as they are but LRF odds will be the shortest priced winner of the day.

YES

Of course, YES.

Instructions have always been an integral and very important part of this competition, which is after all just a bit of fun. To scrap them would be very foolish and definitely detrimental to the competition.

I'm still completely bewildered as to why some players have suddenly started whingeing about instructions after all these years. To my mind, this ill-conceived vote shouldn't even have been considered by the organisers.

Let's hope common sense prevails!

'all these years'...automatically being on LRF has only been default for about 2 maybe 3 years, since being allowed to have 'proper' instructions.

If you don't post you shouldn't win. Where is the sense in having a tipping competition where a napster gets 120 days where they have a horse picked for them (which is what LRF amounts to)/ Let's not forget we all get another 50 days a years off for optinal Sundays. So we have a Naps table wherein a player only has to pick a horse for roughly 50% of the time.......crazy!

However, no-one can be around to post every day so there should be a fixed number of days per year (with a limit set per month within this) to allow for this.

You score zero on these non-posting days until you exceed your monthly and/or yearly limit then you score -1 for each extra day.

sorry ... first line should say 'since being allowed 'proper' instructions  was stopped'

no pete, I wasnt referring to you ... sorry, I'm a bit ratty, had a stressful day ... but the point still stands. This is a free and not too serious competition. Essentially it's just a bit of fun, but you wouldn't think that to read some of the stuff.

I truly hope I haven't upset anyone either boys.
I have spent a lot of time reading all the posts, weighing them up and offering my thoughts and reasonings in a clear manner (if not always concise!Happy).
Not sure you can say that about some of others with their throw away ;cutting' one-line answers
Don't remember being offensive at any time but if I was then I am embarrassed about that and apologise 100%.
Cheers,
Mad.
