I'd propose a rule change for LRFs: winners settled as DH, this allows those who cannot post to profit and also rewards those who choose the LRF as an easy selection - but reduces the frustration for those who can and do post?

Or possibly all LRFs settled at a fixed price regardless of SP?

Aquarius gained a foothold on the podium with a 12/5 success and

Yep - allow for two weeks holiday, so no selection settled as NR and get rid of LRFFFFFFFS. Named instructions to be allowed.

The only problem I see with a non selection being classed as a non runner is in the premier and possibly Div`s 1 & 2 at the end of the month in the relegation battles. Some will take the opportunity to settle for a n/r and hope the others lose. It more or less happens now with really short priced selections ie 1/8 1/10 and so on.

I`m all for either settling last race fav as max 6/4 2/1 or d/h on the isp.

You could do away with it altogether and not allow any, but that`s unfair for those on holiday or any other reason you couldn`t post.

So how do we all feel about doing away with instructions (LRF) then, say 10 non posts settled as n/r then -£1 thereafter.

Many would ask others to post for them when on holiday.

Put it this way Reg. Let`s say Mr X is one place above the relegation zone in the premier and he decides not to post on Feb 25th 26th & 27th when he normally posts every day with out fail and is happy with three n/r`s and gets away with it.

I wouldn`t be very happy. I know, I know, tactics are used anyway and not just selecting a 1/20 shot, Mr Y who is just above Mr Z will select the same horse and so on.

It's very difficult to gauge opinion isn't it?

It is Reg. If three napsters are on lrf and it comes in at 4/1 others are bound to feel aggrieved, even though the last four lrf`s have lost.
