We have a new leader. After threatening for two days, pauli adamantly refused to quit his quest for the top spot and finally hit paydirt with Intransigent  at 5/2 to leapfrog N-east Correspondent. It was not for the want of trying on NEC's part - he was just half a length short of landing the 11/1 Nordic Quest.  What a great contest you guys are having - one worthy of the leaders of the best div in the competition!

We had a very nice collection of winners today, although by the look of all the divs it seemed a good day to pick them. Top napster today was the doughty berniedinneen, who has been languishing too long in the nether regions IMO. But George Cinq  at 6/1 lifted him eight places into the top half of the table.  Close behind were lagmorian, zipper and Horny38DD, who took 5/1 on Ajjaadd.  It pushed lags up a place to third while zips got an 11-place boost to mid-table. Horny, the beneficiary of a Goodfellow instruction, jumped three places into 13th. 

The race to fill to the top spots is hotting up. angeleyz climbed four places into fourth with the 9/4 Lord Provost  and an evens shot put MOB up a place into sixth. The other notable score was the 11/4 geos1 got on Jack Luey  to climb four places.

Besides the mobster, a number of players scored evens wins: BillyWhizzle, with his reserve nag after his original pick failed to turn up, KBGJ and WeaverFish all gaining the odd place as a result. pension fund also landed an evens shot but stood rooted to his ninth place.

Well done winners! Just six days to go now so maintain focus. There's still all to play for! Good luck!
