Very subdued compared to yesterday, but we have a new name in the promo slots and a very nice top nap from our very own Premier settler shanelee1966. His pick today was We Have A Dream  and when he posted it he jokingly said: "My dream is to be premier champion next year." Well the dream stays alive after the horse came home at 8/1 to lift shane 13 places up the table. He's still got a way to go mind: he now sits in 18th. Isn't this where his dad says something about clocks being right twice a day? Have none of it Mr S; keep that dream alive!

Up at the top it was a napping desert, which allowed LordyLordy to nip one place into fifth with the 5/2 Rocker Rob.  Yes, I laid it today in the Lay Comp, but not I hasten to add because Lordy picked it. One of us had to win and it was Lordy, who goes into double figures cash-wise.

But closing in is MOB, who also picked the horse that zipper told me must have had "a rocket up its arse" (he laid it in the comp too!) and as a result rose four places to sit two short of transportation.

In mid-table KBGJ hit on Whimsical at 5/4 - fourth winner in eight days - to climb four places, closely followed by caress, whio followed yesterday's win with the 15/8 Magical Rose  to  rise by five.

Down in the boondocks the once hapless Lusitano71 notched his second straight winner, Fulbright,  but at 6/4 his chances of going anywhere were more than dim. betme was slightly more fortunate with the 9/4 Havana Beat,  rising one place. Well done winners. Let's get at 'em Thursday!
