Ra - nice touch with the new thread.
Opportunities are gunna be scarce this week and even one nice price winner may be enough. Sham Folkestone was off today, but the all weather should give us some chances, although form looks likely to be suspicious with unusual weather affecting surfaces. GL Pins. |

I'm trying again today with Dark Promise in the 2.40 at Lingfield

Good to get our CL campaign off with a winner, wd RN.
By:
Nice one Ra, good pick.

top tipping again, Ra. VWD. GL Pins. It is gunna get competitive with only one meeting tomorrow and some others will throw a pick. We don't need to, but waiting until Saturday to pick could be dodgy.... a conundrum we can play well.
I'm at work Thu & Fri and prob wont get a chance to pick, so if i don't make one tomorrow it is likely i'll be playing Saturday. Come on evening racing!! |
By:
Nice one RN

Disappointed with the SP. I managed to get 11/8 with the Magic Sign this morning.
Still, another 10 yards and it might have been headed! |
By:
I wasn't aware there'd been a jockey change, but when I saw the jockey having to get very serious with it, it was pretty obvious it was Fortune and not Robbo - though that managed to pass Alex Quinn by - even watching the replay when she remarked how strong Robinson was! LOL.

By:
Well done, BB
It was my only bet of the day, but I would not have given it any chance with a furlong to go. |
By:
FCH, do you know there's a piece in the Racing Post today about Dream Alliance?
Philip Hobbs speaking about the Welsh National, and Jan Vokes on plans to make a film about the Dream Alliance story. |
By:
Well done, BB
It was my only bet of the day, but I would not have given it any chance with a furlong to go. Me neither, i laid it Well done bb. |

Was going to post Shostakovich and then realised I was one minute late
![]() So gone Arteus e/w - 3.40 Kempton Good luck all and unlucky Shane. George, unfortunately I didn't see the article in the Racing Post - couldn't get hold of a copy, but there was a piece on ITV Wales which is online and came out on Thursday I think. You can see me running along side the horse as he reaches the winners enclosure. Film plans are going well I believe, they're working on the script now (I have to pinch myself about that - especially if it comes off) |
By:
Cheers, FCH, I'll take a look at that after the racing.
Struggling today. Was going to go with Great Charm 2.55, but someone got in before me. Gone with Talenti (EW) in the 2.40 Kempton, instead. Good luck. |
By:
GL with the selections today.
If we manage to get through, I think we should look at playing earlier in the week to avoid the situation with duplicate selections, especially as the weather is going to decimate the cards again next week. |
By:
Sorry guys, that was woeful.
Had a 6-1 winner and a 16-1 second in the naps league this week - so disappointing that waited until today and struggled to find anything I was happy to go with. Head-in-hands man please... |
By:
Well done, fundy, you might have saved our bacons there
![]() |
By:
*along with the winners from BB and Ra Nova, obviously!
By:
We may need a wildcard if anyone has a fancy for tonight...
By:
Fwiw, I did the Wolver card for the AW comp' and Lucas Pitt (EW) would be my tentative pick on the card. But if anyone has anything stronger, given the form I've been in for this comp', please feel free to post it up!
Still time for book to make an appearance, though... |
By:
apols GEORGE just got back will have a look also
By:
