Please don't tell me you think that the best singer wins these things??? That's exactly what I'm telling you as joe, Alexandra, leona have all been in their winning years. I'd have said Danyl was at least as good as Joe last year but the two of them were miles clear of the rest. |

Without wanting to split hairs Lou (and I know we've been round this particular roundabout many times before) it has to be a singing AND popularity contest. If the best singer is not the most popular contestant he/she will not win as they simply will not get enough votes. Rhydian, for example. Notice you conveniently leave Leon out of your list!

FLL / HF - agree that this is so far all playing into Rebecca's hands. She has the best book of rides going into Champions Day for sure.
'Beautiful' SHOULD be the moment we were all waiting for, supported by two very good songs. I wouldn't want to see her sing Wicked Games or Amazing Grace again though... |
