Yep. How I's love to see Sinatra come on and do 'I've Got you under my Skin' with The Count Basie Orchestra or Sammy Davis do 'Mr Bojangles'. Let's see if Matt could beat them! |

Amen to that, I thought matt's NIWS was pure karaoke not one iota of difference to the original in pitch or phrasing, apart from the last note which was so sharp it nearly choked him.

Thought he did it very well. Liked that he never changed it. Not as good as 'First Time Ever' but still great stuff. |

Nick - some spot on observations there in your summary.
Pretty much agree with all of that, although Cowell's relaxed demeanour in relation to Wagner makes me suspect that he's not polling anywhere near as well as has been reported... |

Thought it was a "Safe" rendition. but if it gets him through then good enough. I'm sure it was a first for a lot of viewers,.... so why take risks. [;)]. I'm off catch you again mate, GL.

11. Rebecca - I Can't Get No (Satisfaction). Similar comments to her previous performance. I think she could have given it a lot more "welly".
I was waiting on her singing the 'I can't get no girl reaction' sounds like 'girly action' line but she skipped it! |

I always cringe when anyone attempts Satisfaction.
Some horrible, horrible song choices last night. Summer of 69 Brass in Pocket Sex on Fire and the worst of the lot - I Love Rock n Roll, possibly the worst rock record of all time. |
