How come he keeps coming back Lou?

You've been on the advocaat again n'est pa?
By:
But Lou - the big difference between Alexandra and Diana was that the latter DID polarise opinion. You either loved or hated her, whereas I think Alexandra was far more mainstream and acceptable to the masses.
That's why I think the likes of Aiden and Cher will ultimate struggle to drum up sufficient support to win overall. |

She's been to Haiti.
Thank gawd for that |

Calling people names Lou, becoming what you criticise people for so not just clueless and friendless but also now hypocritical!
very very sad. No pretend hospital appointment today lou? |
By:
Dizzy
As you can see one or two here didn't like her, done their dough then conveniently say they backed her after all! They were slating her all the way through it believe me with me sticking up for her of course. Millions loved her of course and err ................. she won! See what you mean about Aiden and Cher yes. |
By:
All the rational regulars on here know I backed Alexandra and didnt like Vickers as I fargued like feck with them throughout most of that series.
But dont let facts get in the way of your arguments Lou as you never do![;)] |

Bang, that's another bomb on another town
While Luzar and Jim have tea If I get home, live to tell the tale I'll run for all presidencies If I get elected I'll stop, I will stop the Cavalry |

Calling you rational or backing Alexandra GB?
By:
No, I just hated all Alex backers really
Including myself for the benefit of Lou |
By:
Although I've only posted this year, I've been following the forum for the past three seasons, so I know the truth! [;)]

Watching any interview with the woman tells you all you need to know. She's a Cowell programmed android
By:
I really thought she was great from the moment she did Candyman.
She was great doing the upbeat pop songs (toxic) but obviously Cowell made sure she sand mainly ballads! |
By:
Dizzy
Thank you very much. Honesty will prevail you see. Nice one mate. |
By:
Even I will admit Candyman was good.
I wanted to put an ice pick through her cranium by Beyonce thogh |

I know not everyone here on the forum liked her, but I thought Alexandra was a really solid performer throughout, very likeable and a worthy winner. It's the Cowell machine that's ruined her. They were determined to make her distinctive and different from Leona and they've basically stuffed any chance she had of a singing career with some truly dreadful material.
It's hard to recognise the same person now! |
By:
They don't like it up em' Sir"
6 or 7 against 1 and they STILL can't beat me. I'm still here, on the clear favourite as clearly stated from day 1 (unlike 99% on here who tell you the winning horse after it's crossed the line) and they also know for a FACT (IF THEY'VE GOT ANY GRAIN OF HONESTY IN THEM) that I did the same last year with Joe and the year before with Alexandra. |

Dizzy
Yes I think she was terriffic from week 1 however I haven't listened to anything she's done since to be honest. Who cares. |

This is just about my only 'chat' on here all year. I have an odd football bet but that's about it. I enjoy the X Factor having been introduced to it by my wife who was my gf at the time in the year Leona won. I backed her at the start too. |
By:
Fair enough Dizzy. The Cowell implant hadn't taken full effect back then
By:
It's great isn't it?! You get to 'sacrifice' your Saturday nights watching this pantomime in the thinly veiled pretence that it's for the sake of your other half, while all the time you get to punt more than on the horses and footie combined!
By:
Don't really touch the horses but yes I take your point. We watch it together on Sunday morning usually and together on a Sunday evening when we can. Great viewing sitting there with your fingers crossed that your act will go through1
By:
It certainly adds a lot to the interest. Whether or not I had a good weekend used to depend on the results by 5.00pm on a Saturday... Now I have to wait until around 9.00pm on a Sunday night to know whether it's going to be euphoria or depression!
By:
ha ha like it. It's just a Sunday night will he get through/won't he get through for me. So far so good.
By:
Yep, ahead so far, but we're due a shock in the next couple of weeks so let's hope pride doesn't come before a fall!
By:
True.
It is a bit of a lottery to a certain extent but surely Matt will at least make the final 3 won't he? |
By:
I would think so Lou - can't see him being out of the frame, even if his price is way too short when we're only three weeks in...
By:
Yes a very short price after only 3 weeks as there's a long way to go. Sounds corny but one week at a time is all we can hope for.
