Bruton ??
By:
Strange example if so. 2nd with a huge sympathy vote, then almost b2, then gone
By:
think he misunderstood the heading
By:
LOL bruton yeah. prediction thing on google came up with "wootton" and that rang a bell.
he's actually a youngster at man united!! but yeah bruton topped the vote i think. more out of total sympathy though.... |
By:
doesn't FLL mean in all of the first three weeks, as opposed to at random times during the first three weeks?
By:
Nah, he was 2nd to Eggy, and nowhere after
By:
I agree Gym. Singing in tune is over rated. I'm just saying Lou is factually wrong when he says Diana didn't sing in tune for most of her XF performances.
By:
totally agree FLL.
some people find it hard to be objective when they don't like something though. they don't like it up em. |
By:
yep squares. Top 2 for the 1st 3 weeks.
By:
ahhhh i follow now.
how do we know mary was top 2 in each of 1st three weeks?! |
By:
It's in todays star.
By:
ahhhaaa interesting - star has a good track record for being on the money too.
By:
where was the thread where someone said there would be a leak in the star yesterday. I couldn't find it. I may be blind

Was my thread cj and I had it removed
By:
ah well good call GB
![]() why did you get it removed? |
By:
Lou had posted on it

Certainly good news for her backers. Eoghan was 11s mid way through the finals, IF she makes it there, she'll probably be even higher as the market goes toe to toe with Cardle (1.33) and Ferguson (5).
By:
Cardle will have topped Week 3.
By:
Eggy was also about 3.5 after 7 weeks Angie
By:
Angie or anyone else, do you fancy Cher to beat her?
If you do maybe we could come to some sort of arrangement in the head to head market |
By:
Figgy
Diana sang awfully every week. Even with her good looks and youngters vote she finished .................... 4th! Eggnog was just as bad get over it. |
By:
Utter b0llox Lou.
By:
No it's not. She was shyte and the country voted so. Same with Eggnog. Completely out of Alexandra's class. FACT

Are you Lily Allen?
By:
Have I struck a nerve Fig?
By:
Yep, I realise I was wrong about her all along.
She was out of tune throughout her time the XF and she's just been very lucky to get a no.1 album and single and to star, to much acclaim, in the westend. Are you off to see Danyl at butlins again this year? |
By:
Figgy
Tut tut tut. I have no interest in Danyl or what he's up to whatsoever for a start. Also I do belive Claire Sweeney played the same part in the west end didn't she? Big star!! A number 12 single these days is about 2000 sales isn't it. Did you see her a couple of weeks ago on the X Factor. Dreadful again surely? You obviously done your dough on her and can't get over it. It must be a bad feeling I'd imagine but heh ho. |
By:
Should read a number 1 single ...typo.

Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree has so far sold over 120,000 copies in the United Kingdom attaining a Gold certification.[8] Vickers' second single, "The Boy Who Murdered Love" was released on 19 July 2010 peaked at number thirty-six on the UK Singles Chart.
120,000 is not to shabby imo |
By:
She was shyte and the country voted so.
she came 4th therefore she was shyte? is that what you're saying. so danyl was shyte also? the country voted so. what about people who didn't even make it to 4th? jamie afro extra shyte? the country voted so after all. |
By:
lou gets very aggressive when his opinion is brought into question doesn't he?
By:
The Cavalry's here!!
Het em' up, move em' out! |

and then hides behind his "everyone is against me" when someone highlights some of his nonsense.

ALEXANDRA BURKE:
Upon its release, Overcome debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, selling 132,065 copies in its first week, the fourth largest first week sales for a female singer in 2009.[12] The album became a commercial success in Europe being certified multi-platinum in the United Kingdom and Ireland, selling 700,000 copies.[13] As well as meeting with positive reviews, Overcome earned a nomination for Best Album at the Urban Music Awards.[14] Alexandra sold more than that in 1 week!! and went on to sell over 700,000. A touch more I think you'd agree? |
By:
Diana won me a fair amount that year.
Backed her @ 14 and layed off around 3.5 -4 iirc , after the star story and shifted most of my green to the competent but rather dull Alexandra. So I'm not hurting at all. For me Diana is the most talented performer they've ever had on the show and her success since would back that up. The fact that she didn't win a highly manipulated popularity contest is neither here nor there. |

fll - i'd like to highlight at this point that you're trying to start a debate on modern music with someone who hadn't heard the song "one" by U2 until this series of x factor.

You say 'For me she's the most talented' etc etc etc. That's fine. For me she's not though ...... That's fine though as well I think you'll find. In fact I THINK she was awful. I think you'll find that's fine to say too. Thought you might have bough high and sold low as everyone does that on Betfair. We all win so you wouldn't want to be the only loser would you? |
