unchallenged favourite for tournaments golden mug award... tipped the biggest pile of sh1te, made 100x worse given the effort put in. If an analyst in any industry spent the time this moron did and made the dumb recommendations he did, he'd be fired. nothing personal, but their are a lot of mugs on here that may be led astray by tw@ts like mary who claim to have spreadsheets to share

save us the trouble mary, keep them to yourself

these mugs are just proving my point IPTL, mugs that need to be shown a spreadsheet created by a super mug b4 they can decide on a £2 bet...

if this was being done in the financial services industry, mary would be banned for life

Marychain's one of the best tipsters on this site and I'd buy him a pint anytime.

He's won me a good few quid over the years.

OK, so his World Cup predictions haven't born too much fruit - so what?  It's a cup competition ffs.

His write ups and analysis are superb - not to mention the time and effort he puts in.

Go on yersel MC and gies some more tips!

Backed Aussies for rock bottom at 1/3
Layed off my stake at 1/12, after just 15 mins of the first game. That's right mug, I was home and hosed after just 15 mins of game 1. Check the old threads. It's all there.

wd plat

up there with the guys who backed james for the boot at 670 and laid off at 1.3

mind you they had to wait a couple of weeks, so i'd give your bet marginal preference in the bet of the tournament stakes

wd again

Great write up (pictures and presentation), brutal tipping.  I really can't see the problem with people highlighting this....in fact I think it's useful and helpful do so.

I actually thought he would be on himself, holding his hands up in self-depreciating manner but that appears not to be his style.

His silence on his tipping speaks volumes.Enough said, and yes platini im well ahead.

I said this on another thread, but since you have persisted, I'll say it again:

I've been contributing - if that's the right word - to this forum since it first started, and in all that time Marychain has been here, helping people with his analysis of various sports and doing the research for those people who can't be bothered to do it themselves.

There's no denying he's had a bad tournament with his tips. We've all got it wrong occasionally, but there has to be an element of caveat emptor whenever you back anything tipped up by someone else.

The fact remains though that Marychain has a very good record in all types of sport with his tips on here over a very long period, and if I were the sort of person who took other people's views as gospel and had followed all his tips, I'd be prepared to forgive him a bad World Cup.

I really don't know why you feel the need to start such a thread, but to be honest it reflects more badly on you than his incorrect views on this World Cup reflect on him.

Fully deserved imo

Advised Liverpool for the title at 1/6

jed, would you care to put up some evidence of your comments?
By:
jed.davison
When: 11 Jul 14 23:12
You must have a different understanding of the word 'advice' to me mate.

Evidence? This is not a court of law, all I know is what I said above. Marychain has been a valuable member of this forum for at least a decade as far as I'm aware - I can remember him posting many decent tips, but I can't remember him ever starting a thread to gloat over someone's bad calls.
By:
Charlton2005
When: 11 Jul 14 23:21
maybe your interpretation of gloating is different to mine.

the OP said "sorry" and i said "nothing personal"

the reason this thread was started was to alert the uneducated masses about being mugs and unfortunately that means pointing out to them the forum idiots.

I don't know mary and i would call my own brother the same thing if he dared put up such unadulterated shyte, masquerading  as science ("who wants my excel workbooks") on a such a regular and consistent basis

but it's a free country and if you're happy with it, carry on. I'm just here to point out to others that objectively by virtually any measure, mary is a bullsh1tting moron
By:
jed.davison
When: 11 Jul 14 23:27
I see, so your rudeness is just altruism in disguise. How foolish of me not to realise that.

And of course it's nothing personal, I'm sure the 'bullsh1tting moron' understands that.
By:
jed.davison
When: 11 Jul 14 23:36
Sorry charlton, I didn't realise you were a Liverpool fan, or I would have made the usual allowances for your idiocy and nastiness.
By:
jed.davison
When: 11 Jul 14 23:38
Nice to see Rodgers doing well though, don't you think? Laugh
By:
Charlton2005
When: 11 Jul 14 23:42
the difference, as has been pointed out by the OP, is that I apologized to most/all the folk who I had criticized regarding my comments about Rodgers. If mary came on and said he was wrong in every one of his circa 15 tips including a couple of shorties then we wouldn't have to warn the public about him.
By:
Charlton2005
When: 11 Jul 14 23:46
for the record i would have absolutely no problem ttt'ing the stupid threads i started and point them out to whoever might be interested to see what i know or don't know
By:

'warn the public' - you're quite a funny guy, despite your obvious retardation.

Rubbish thread. Don't take a moments notice mary, keep posting.
By:
Ozymandius
When: 12 Jul 14 08:17
why the over-reaction? no one has said he should stop posting, no one has said his tips haven't been good in the past.

Fact remains when someone makes 20 odd predictions and all of them fail, a light should be cast upon it, irrespective of past performance.

Especially if he hasn't bothered to come on and hold his hands up over his humiliating performance, which I think most of us would have done.

thank you ozymandius, at last reason prevails!
