I haven't seen Blockx play much so I'm not really familiar with his style, but he seems to be going for his shots aggresively rather than staying in the rallies here.

stayed in the rally there.
I'm a bit confused of what's going on here. Glad to be just watching from the sidelines pretty much, very small green on Blockx tap. |

looks like Fran has some sort of mental blockx today.

Thanks for coming Naomi, nice dresses, see you next year.

I wonder how she plans these things. When she did her "SAY THEIR NAME" thing in 2020 she left the biggest name, George Floyd, for the final. Presumably she was confident that she would make it that far. Does she save her best dresses for the final and we never get to see them or will she just save that for the Aussie Open instead?

have no idea, but I don't know what it's all about, tells me she's more interested in being some kind of fashion icon than a serious tennis player, for someone so naturally introverted she likes to draw a lot of attention her way, or maybe it's just newfound confidence.

Sorry for the large post but my search assistant has told me when I was trying to find out what Naomi meant by "business at the front and party at the back"... it intrigued me somewhat
![]() Naomi Osaka's Fashion Philosophy Naomi Osaka has a distinctive approach to fashion, which she describes as "business at the front and party at the back." This phrase encapsulates her unique style that combines professionalism with playful and expressive elements. Key Aspects of Osaka's Style Professionalism: Her outfits often feature tailored elements that convey a sense of seriousness and respect for the sport. Playfulness: The "party at the back" aspect highlights her willingness to incorporate fun, bold designs and colors, making her stand out both on and off the court. i'm still not sure what she's on about. PS Notice to Betfair: please try and sort out your floating sidebar when using the mobile as it keeps popping up and cutting across the Forum as you try to type a post. |

I don't thing one detracts from the other. You can only work on your tennis so much, Sabalenka has her off courts interests too. I think with Naomi, her level has dropped/the opposition has stepped up since winning those Slams, and that's why she's now top 15 rather than top 1. As for being shy, it's perfectly normal to be an introvert but show your personality in other outlandish ways.

AI of no use as normal. Business at the front, party at the back is a description of a mullet. I think Naomi saying that is a play on that and saying you can be both serious and fun.

It was one of four phrases or slang terms that describe a mullet hairstyle apparently ![]() |

botic set to get knocked out of a winnable match. another player who fluctuates so much from match to match. capable of beating carlitos at the same time as being capable of losing to anyone

I was wondering where Edy was as he usually posts on tennis quite a lot…… I did search and found that DixieDean60 thought he had to be banned…… Is this true ? ... it's a bit of a shame if he has been banned.... also I thought he was a guy called Wolf who used to phone into LBC from Germany quite often.
