sorry messed up the Godfather quote. "An offer too good to refuse".

[1] Sabalenka vs. [17] Mboko
[29] Jovic vs. Putintseva [3] Gauff vs. [19] Muchova [8] Andreeva vs. [12] Svitolina [6] Pegula vs. [9] Keys [4] Anisimova vs. Wang [5] Rybakina vs. Mertens [2] Świątek vs. [Q] Inglis upper half with lots of cool matches, lower not so much after Noskova and Osaka not making R16. |

don't think you could get away with bribes that big today with digital footprinting and all'
The player who receives the walkover, should at least made to do something for a couple of hours to match the blood, sweat and tears their next opponent is having to put in whilst he chills in a jacuzzi back at the hotel somewhere, maybe 2 hours sweepings the street or shelf stacking in Tesco's. |

I think Mboko vs. Mirra Anisimova vs. Rybakina Obviously that needs Vicky to pull off a giantkilling act tonight but I think she can do it. The most impressive thing about her is that she never downs tools, always tries to give her opponent a different look if things are going against her. The opposite of Noskova who just checked out last night when things weren't going her way. |
By:
I don't know how Noskova does in the heat, so that's at least a question mark
Terrible night for the young Czechs. Noskova should have heeded what Amanda signed on the camera lens 'KEEP HYDRATING!' |
By:
Amanda and Rybakina have impressed me the most in the bottom half. I can see them in the semis.
Anisimova handled the conditions better than most. A far cry from her suspect conditioning of a few years ago. |

I'm trying a mugtiple
Musetti to beat Fritz, Gauff to beat Muchova, De Minaur to beat Bublik, Mboko to win at least one set Between 10-1 and 11-1 most books |
By:
looks like a solid enough acca
Coco/Muchova over 21.5 games Mboko - over 7.5 games won Poots - over 9.5 games won, before she loses in 3 sets. Alcaraz/Paul - over 34.5 games 10.26 |

Vicky on the scoreboard! One game all

Down a break but she's getting into the Aryna serve games. Good placement there to get 0-30 then just missed a return to go 0-40.
This feels like a three setter |
By:
She has to hold though. Down a double break now. Aryna wants to kill both mugtiples with a double breadstick
By:
girl vs woman.

By:
Ajla and Petko on commentary. What a cool team.
By:
Set Sabalenka. She's in lights out mode here at the moment, eleven points in a row
By:
5 set mug fest coming up with Danill and Tien
By:
Finally a comfortable hold. Get the break back in the next 2 Aryna serves and she could start spraying
By:
All that bandaging though is reminding me of Siniakova in her Hong Kong Boris Karloff era.
By:
We're done here
By:
Saba doesn't tolerate New Kids on the Block
By:
Two points away from getting the double break back. AT least she's made Aryna serve this out *5-4
Win two of the first three points and anything could happen here |
By:
Drags it to deuce
Come on Victoria! |
By:
THIRD BP

By:
WIMMMMBOKO breaks
We have parity at 5-5 |

By:
Holds! One game away from saving the mes mugtiple, two games away from saving mine

"in my age"
you're 27! |

It was interesting Novak saying he'd given Jovic some of his thoughts about her game (she has Serbian heritage)
By:
Iva is bullying Yulia really badly here
By:
Would be funny if she did the Putintseva dance to celebrate after delivering a double bagel here, but that doesn't seem to be her style.
By:
odds for Sabalenka vs Jovic? Saba was 1.19 against Mboko.
By:
get the feeling the hype train is going to push Aryna's price up if she does dish out the double bagel
By:
dream scoreline is 6-0 0-6 6-0

Iva has such a solid game.
Who will have a better career out of her and Mirra? Both born 2007. |
By:
Jovic really has arrived in 2026. her mindset & composure is the most impressive part for me
By:
top 20 here we are! (probably, if Mertens beats Rybakina it will have to wait)
By:
Yulia is no worldbeater but Iva just totally outclassed her there, with no fuss
By:
with Mirra, obviously she has the level anyone, but also so much can go wrong every time she steps on court. I don't really see that with Jovic. Will be really interesting to see how she matches up with Sabalenka. I think it will be a step too far, but I said that against Paolini as well.
By:
yeah, and even with the little wobble mid 2nd set she just brushed that away.
By:
*the level to beat anyone.
By:
will Iva be intimidated by Sabalenka do you think?
