can we have some competitive matches please? These r16's and QF's looked so cool on paper, but has mostly been snooze fests. Bring back Lois Boisson!

The men's side is crying out for a sprinkling of Muzza, Stanimal and the tower of Tandil to arrive.
Someone who can grab a slam or two and make things just a little less predictable. And of course the added personalities. Fonseca is young but it's hard to see it happening at the moment. Though there was a period where it felt like that with JMDP and even Novak ! |

Here we go!
By:
we're quite early in the Sinner/Alcaraz era. 8 Slams in. Since Rafa won his first Slam, he and Roger gobbled up the next 11 Slams before Novak won that one AO in 2008.
But as you say, noone even seems close now. Novak had at least threatened the big 2 here and there at the time. The only threats to Carlos and Jannik are Carlos himself and the sun. |

Mugfest at the moment, but I'll take that over a train.

Toad there was also a period with Sabalenka where it felt like she was going to be a mug at slams forever, but she figured it out in the end. there's still some hope for Fonseca

ahaha Amanda
By:
Wow. What a serve !

Rybakina doesn't seem the vindictive type, but I take it she should sue! They were interfering in her private business and this derailed her career for a year and a half.
By:
*could sue.

I don't think he was fit in Australia, so I wouldn't worry too much about this one. Overall his 2025 was quite good with him moving upwards.

lmao Amanda

Anisimova made a crying face after playing a good point and saving a break point.

By:
Jessica breaks twice in a row !
![]() She's so calm compared, especially compared to Amanda |
By:
Jess is always all business until it doesn't work and then she gives up and goes stroppy
By:
Wonder if there was another wager going into this and Jess isn't having any of this wearing a Chiefs jersey business again.
By:

By:

Some pretty cool scenarios with this final 4.
Sabalenka vs Rybakina final (the two most in-form players, and best hardcourt players on the planet) Svitolina vs Rybakina (yay, Svitolina slayed the dragon and made her first final) Pegula vs Svitolina (new Slam winner guaranteed and I would be very happy for either) Sabalenka vs Pegula (pretty lame if Sabalenka wins, amazing if Jess does) |
