Somehow scraped a hold. Break now or just hang up your racquet Linda
By:
some players just havent got it when it comes to important points. noskova is clearly one of those
By:
She shouldn't be in this position in the first place. She was coasting, got complacent in the second set
By:
easy hold for sramkova
By:
christ. put sramkova under some pressure at least. ****g embarrassing
By:
the jinxing is strong on the phorum this week!
By:
dreadful. noskova is useless
By:
that last set was all about the big points and sramkova won them all
By:
the jinxing is strong on the phorum this week!
Between us we've taken everyone down. Somebody has to win Nottingham though? Maybe let one of the ballgirls have it |
By:
this week has been incredible for favourites winning first sets and then losing matches.
By:
Paula & Ons withdrew from the doubles tomorrow. Sara & Jasmine advance to the final
By:
Rune spraying an error to lose the match, very fitting !
By:
he was in super brat mode for sure today
By:
Fils out of Wimbledon.

It's so sad to see WTA Eastbourne being relegated to mug status.

rage quit?

felt like it, he hit 2 df's in a row and was just blasting the ball

Super Maky!!!!!!
By:
a healthy Marketa will be very dangerous at Wimbledon.
By:
she's 101 in the live rankings!
By:
she would have messed up your comp!
By:
so she's gonna have to qualify? Wimbledon not giving their 2023 champ, who has missed most of the year with an injury, a WC
![]() |
By:
or she has PR maybe?
By:
hopefully Maky can win the title this week now. a good boost for her ranking. a solid run to say the QFs of Wimbledon would be good for her too
By:
Maky has a PR pretty sure
By:
she was 165 in the rankings 2 weeks ago, so she's climbing back up

Diana S was working Maky out for some parts of their match on Thursday, but Maky stayed cool and played a nice 3rd set to win. these Berlin courts which are very reliant on movement suit her game very much. also haven't noticed much wind at Berlin either. Maky should request to play every Wimbledon match on covered court with the roof closed!
By:
meanwhile Jess should request blustery conditions if possible for every big mtch
By:
By:
I wonder if that is why she returned in Adelaide and not the week before. Because if she had played the week before, she wouldn't have been entitled to protected ranking.
By:
match* the next one is the most intriguing for me because Lyuda is playing a very solid level, and I suspect Xinyu, although playing quite well, has been massively flattered by Coco and Paula especially. my natural inkling is a really easy Lyuda win, but Lyuda isn't the strongest mentally and she'll really, really want to make the final so she could make things more complicated for herself if Xinyu at least brings an acceptable standard
By:
Liudmila the grass goat for me.
By:
Maky isn't down for PR entry, but maybe she was inside the cutoff for wimbledon 5 weeks ago or whenever it was?
By:
ah good point. She had QF from RG 2024 on her ranking at that time, which should put her into 100 and give her a spot in the main draw for Wimbledon.
By:
because otherwise it doesn't make sense, because if she was outside the cutoff and didn't have a PR to use, she would have applied for a WC and easily got one
By:
and we know she hasn't got a WC, and she isn't on the PR entry list, so she must be in
By:
yeah. it's 6 weeks btw.
By:
yeah 5 weeks ago from now, 6 weeks ago from when Wimbledon starts?
