Radio 5 Live executives are in negotiations to bring us comprehensive live coverage of the upcoming Ladies elephant polo friendly between Namibia and Bangladesh. Has to be a worry for anyone hoping to listen to the tennis next month.

30 slam hero refusing to go away

Does this only happen in tennis? Don't recall seeing other outdoor sports being halted because someone in the crowd has fallen ill.
|
|
By:
happens quite a lot in football, but the matches aren't usually delayed for any length of time.

I like any player that does anything to win at all costs, maximises their potential and does not have a bland big hitting game like Sinner. It's like Ronaldo in football, lot of haters, but he kills himself to be the best, most players do not, they do just enough to stay at the level they're at. Most people watched Serena's matches because they tuned in in the hope to see her lose, I always supported Serena because she also killed herself to win, those sports people with that mentality are very few and far between. Sharapova was another one, unfortunantly, she was just a standing lamp post when she met Serena, horrific match up.

|
By:
as opposed to a moving lamp post obviously

By:
a timely wicket for Canada.

There was a Jordan Peterson talk along these lines. Identify what you truly want and basically go through hell to get to what you've identified what you want. Basically only a handful of people do both, ten percent do one of the two and most people do neither and just coast into frustration and death. . |
|
By:
at least we've all got frustration and death to look forward to.
