Just watching the doubles,
Was mentioned he was having the op this morning |
By:
ok, thanks.
Just found this link too on ESPN - looks bad for Wimbledon yes, he won't risk playing that slog after surgery https://www.espn.co.uk/tennis/story/_/id/40282272/novak-djokovic-surgery-wimbledon-doubtful-source |

By:
Some money still backing him in the market though...
By:
bets voided on non-starters
By:
ah yes.
By:
Makes the bets on others a bit more solid though still e.g. Carlos.
By:
calling edy. you a fan of Team Kat Coco?
By:
Rybakina time!
By:
how many games for Elena Rybakina?
By:
oh. you don't like Kat?
By:
I simply like my names in doubles teams ordered alphabetically.
By:
By:
15 games imo
By:
Elena seems a bit grumpy today
By:
this match is a match between two players I had gimmick names for, but once they became good players I ditched the gimmick names.
By:
I don't have many gimmick names left, is it just Taylor and Stardoubtseva?
By:
I suppose midcarder Felix.
By:
When will Paolini drop a point on serve?!
By:
Wertheim will now have been familiarized with Paolini's game and not think she's a grinder like Errani.
By:
12 games not looking so likely now

By:
42 points away from JM coming here and gloating about the "fake big 3".
By:
By:
Ryba wins a point on Paolini's serve!
By:
16-1 on serve still not a bad record.
By:
This would/will be the first time since his debut in 2005 that Novak will not be making Wimbledon.
By:
The only other Slam he's missed due to injury is US Open 2017.
By:
now it's a 6-1 set for Rybakina
By:
Vukov not saying much today. I remember against Poots he was talking all the time.
By:
maybe not mic'd up?
By:
Elena struggling with her sleep again? she seems tired
By:
She should just listen to a recording of questions from reporters when going to bed.
By:
Rybakina has entered the chatroom !
By:
Hi Elena!
By:
Have you been struggling with sleep?
By:

By:
Toadie did you get a pic with Elena last summer at Wimbledon?
By:
I can see why a tennis player would struggle with sleep though. High pressure job with lots of uncertainty (but less uncertainty for the top players), travelling almost every week, often late finishes so hard to get a good rhythm going.
By:
ww, I can sense you are deep down a fan of Elena but you think she should stop being a jerk to reporters. Am I correct?
By:
I do wonder if a player ever takes to court with lack of sleep, constipated, headache, family/relationship woes and just having one of those days ! Maybe she's playing through a few of these things ! As she started with a lack of focus and seemed to take her a while to get the engine going !
