She will overtake Dodin in the rankings with a victory today, yeah. Dodin could still get back at her if she plays and wins matches at one of the WTA125s next week.

I am surprised that Dodin was meant to qualify for the olympics with her ranking. Didn't think there'd be so many uneligible players ahead of her.

As Dodin is currently 79 in the live rankings. Olympics has a 64 player draw, probably partly filled with SRs, continental players and whatnot. The WTA rankings seem too diverse in nationality for tons of "only four players per nation" situations to happen.
