She will overtake Dodin in the rankings with a victory today, yeah. Dodin could still get back at her if she plays and wins matches at one of the WTA125s next week.
By:
I am surprised that Dodin was meant to qualify for the olympics with her ranking. Didn't think there'd be so many uneligible players ahead of her.
By:
ineligible
By:
As Dodin is currently 79 in the live rankings. Olympics has a 64 player draw, probably partly filled with SRs, continental players and whatnot. The WTA rankings seem too diverse in nationality for tons of "only four players per nation" situations to happen.

Too much early praise for Struff.

Congrats on winning the women's mouse trap trophy, SaMeBe.
By:
the frickin rain is gonna save you again.
By:
Struffi should love a muddy court though.

De Minaur agrees and demanded to get a break.

![]() Zheng match suspended as well. |
By:
Shame. Qinwen had just regained the momentum with that awesome hold of serve.
By:
I'm annoyed, took Alex at 2.95 because I figured this break in play was gonna suit him but this Struffi loving market has made Struffi go from 1.51 to 1.47 for this news, so looks like I'll have to take a red here. Unless it comes to its senses.

1.44

no start til 2:15 local

By:
Don't look at me like that. I'm not the one bringing the price down.
By:
You could be. Cause I hinted I would take a red and back any muggy Struffi price.
By:
But I could back elsewhere, and you'll set there with a 1.44 bet on Struffi who'll have had all this time to think about this against an Alex who will just have had the best peptalk from Claytie.
By:
"Alex, don't worry too much about it. Especially on clay no lead is save. Before you know it Struff could channel his inner claytie and lose a seemingly insurmountable lead".
By:
I wonder if Rybakina is using this drama with the French press to play off to sharpen her focus and tenacity on the court (a Kostyuk-esque startegy). Yet to be taken past 6-4 on her worst surface.
By:
Got 1.45 elsewhere as Edy drove down the price here to 1.4

trainer Shelton. Shoulder. And I think he had knee issues against Nishi. Should just tap imo.

Eurosport uses "Roland Garros 2004 semi finalist" for Tim Henman's graphics. Classic ES to value that higher than his Wimbledon final.
By:
He never made the Wimbledon final
By:
my bad, I thought Ivanisevic vs Henman was final for some reason, but it was SF. Now that I think about it, that was his thing, making semis but not more.

weather forecasts are useless by the way. 20% chance of rain

"If you want to listen to the tennis" says the presenter on Radio 5 Live, " head over to 5 Live sports extra" The problem is that whenever I do "head over to 5 Live Sports extra" all I hear is that irritating jingle "more live sport, pure live sport..etc" repeated over and over again. Wtf is this "service" for?

What a tiebraek. 6-6

Zheng went out of clutch mode. But she one of these mugfests at AO.
