this is a rematch of the Madrid final last year, which went 3 sets but Carlos did find a way to win. they also played a huge 5 set mugfest at Wimbledon not-so long ago

Speaking of Jelena Ostapenka: Ramos Vinolas had a set and 3-0 lead and also four match points in the second set to make the h2h against Wawrinka 1-9. Instead he now finds himself in a final set and might not be able to proclaim "Nobody beats a Ramos Vinoloas ten times in a row" afterwards.
