I think some tennisers took delight in retired Jack Sock turned pickleballer recently took that Alshon guy to the cleaners who had said pickleball needs lots more skill.

@TweenerKing 2 Apr Pickleball has made me a much better athlete than Tennis ever did. Faster reaction time and speed are needed since the ball is only coming from 10 feet away. Point for point, pickleball requires more skill than tennis. |

Just started watching that match and it taught me something about pickleball I hadn't known yet.
Remember how in volleyball you used to only be able to score points when it was your own serve until eventually someone came along and said "laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame" and they changed it to teams being able to score points irregardless of who is serving? Well, pickleball never got the memo and the receiver cannot score points. If they win a point on the opponent's serve they only win the serve first and then they can start winning points by winning the points they served on. |

That 10 minutes trick is crafty. If I was on tour I would constantly be trying to figure out with players always showed up within 10 minutes of each other.
