A for effort Andy ! This is actually the correct takeaway. I hate final set tiebreaks, they are too much of a coin toss and I'm not having that one define the match. Murray broke Machac back when he was serving for the match and got within two points of an incredible win. To be sure, Murray has played matches to be depressed about in the last year 9eg against Demon). This was not one of them. |

It's a step forward from recent months, but it's really another Wimbledon situation where the draw opens up for him and he doesn't manage to take advantage of it.

these Andy Murray results of late are giving me big Andy Roddick at the end of his career vibes. it's quite sad to witness the narrow defeats

I am just expecting it. The dream result is to pull of a Kokkinakas stlye win at Wimbledon and bow out third round remembered like a king. Occasion might get to him which can be the difference to winning against the likes of Machac or being edged out.

By:
the 1.01 backer can try the same thing for Iga's next 99 1st sets and just need her to win all those to break even (minus commission)

Thought Erika Andreeva at the altitude of San Luis Potosi could potentially be fun this week, but from a look at her results she hasn't been a complete disaster at altitude in the past.

Jannik Schneider @schnejan David Walsh explains why the CAS decision in the Halep case is simply absurd. Reminder: As the ITIA stated im their decision Halep would have needed to ingest 5,000 times the recommended daily dose of the supplement to produce the concentration of roxadustat found in her sample. |

If the calculations done by Eichner are correct, it means that either
a) Alvarez (expert of Halep's defence who said he found the contamination) only found contamination that was far higher than the contamination Halep consumed b) the urine test was botched and the traces found in her urine were far lower than they were in the test results c) the outlined scenarios of the article of Halep consuming a whole lot more of the supplement than she stated d) it not coming from the supplement (take note that the article states that two other laboratories did not find the contamination that Alvarez said he found) |

Musetti booked a solid win over Safiullin on the back of an improved showing at IW. I'm a believer that can going to rocket back from the doldrums this year and Shelton maybe a bit short at 1.4 if Musetti really si starting to fire again. Still only 22 remember.

I really hope she takes his name and not the other way around as there already is an Australian Alex Bolt and this would be confusing.

Bolt barely gets above futures level these days though.
