Because let's face it it's actually mission impossible to achieve what the average leave voter wants. The average leave voter wants us to prosper, but wants immigrants out. Basically in other terms they want us to have access to the single market, but not the other way around. In other words an unachievable task.

Let's start with maybe the most important figure bandied about in the campaign. We will save £350m a week. This isn't a lot of money. Yet people don't realise this because they just think 350m, that's an unthinkable sum. That is nothing compared to our economy. So this whole figure which was the most important one of the campaign was a scare tactic from the off. That's without even getting into the fact we won't save £350m a week anyway, what do they think, the EU will just gives us access to the single market for nothing? |

Talking about how London needs x amount of money to see it through this period or it might have to seek putting up border control around the M25 (if you don't know the M25 is a motorway that rings around London). This is a pure scare tactic, but when 60% of the countries wealth makes big threats, they tend to get their way. |
