Sharapova's forehand in general is the side to target. If you are going to rush it. Halep doesn't hit a big enough ball really to do it though (at least consistently).

her problem is that she backs off when her opponent comes at her. she needs to hold firm and stay aggressive, which she can't do. what she is so good at is dominating someone who never really pushes back. i thought she learnt her lesson in madrid, and perhaps by watching muguroo, she might have realised that you have to keep going hard at masha. oh well. |
