That wasn't even a slice from Nadal though. Also Nadal's slice is average at best. Federer's slice was/is great.

The slice that bites and lands around the service line is a ball Djokovic has never liked, there's not a lot he can do with it.

Incidentally it's on of the same reasons that Federer struggled to make roads against Nadal, because this shot has no effect whatsoever vs Nadal, where it goes into his forehand and he can go both ways easily with it.

Fed at his best > Djokovic at his best (this match up was always in Fed's favour)Even this match up, it's hard to argue how much it's in Djokovic's favour when Nadal still leads the head to head and apart from 2011, Djokovic has never really dominated him, and Nadal has won way too many of the big encounters.

Djokovic beat Nadal in 7 finals in a row - 3 slams finals and 4 masters, you're having a bubble.

In one year. What about all the other times Nadal has beaten him.

At the end of the day I would take Nadal in the biggest matches over Djokovic every day. Just look at their head to head in big matches. Nadal is way mentally stronger than Djokovic is probably a major contributor to this.

The fact Djokovic beat him 7 times in a row, and still doesn't lead the head to head also tells you something.

I am pretty sure I'm right in saying apart from 2011 Djokovic has never led Nadal in the head to head in any single year.

Djokovic has never really dominated him

Sorry but 7 major finals in a row is complete and utter domination.

Their head to head in big matches reads Djokovic winning more finals 10-8 about to be 11-8 so wtf are you talking about n88Laugh

the head to head is a reflection of the early years when nadal was more advanced, then Novak simply caught up.
