anything is 'newsworthy' on SSN. They sensationalise everything. sports news used to be 5 mins twice a day

If Murray didn't have attitude problems, or fake injury and if he actually had a personality which wasn't media-derived, maybe I and others would support him. I suspect the media know that too, which is why they hype him up all the time.

It's a slow day n88. No soccerball, not much tennis, no hoops last night, no nothing.

now we have 15 minutes 96 times a day

Murray has never faked an injury in his life. Yes, he does touch various body parts to check out niggles while other tennis players choose to not do that. It's his choice and a massive difference from faking.

Imo maybe I am alone here, but what Lisicki says is really poor. She basically lost the plot, because she thinks she should have got given a point because of the hindrance rule, which sounds like splitting hairs in the first place.

"injury faking" never stopped Nadal and Djokovic from becoming popular

Indeed, blocking others because they're smarter than you and have a better understanding of things is a load of crap.

Even Haas said players were talking about it. But I am sure you know more about those tactics than the other players, don't you edy?

Hewitt match has resumed.

i reckon murray must have a good off-tv personality. i get the impression that he can't stand all the fawning as well. BBC tried to big him up at wimby last year saying that he should easily beat one of his early round opponents and he just scoffed at them
By:
Haas seethes a lot after lost matches. He once said that tennis should have a height limit after losing to either Isner or Karlovic
By:
I don't have much time for injury faking players at all. Timeouts, sort of part of the sport now, but pretending to be injured on court is another matter.

Hewitt match not even a stream?

Paszek defending 970 of her 1552 points in the next 2 weeks, she could drop out of the top 100.

Murray doesn't pretend to be heavily injured when he's not. What's so hard to understand about that? He rarely ever takes medical timeouts at all

jin kazz posted a video the other day of him doing some show for comic relief or whatever it was
can't imagine if he was really as grumpy/boring as many believe he would allow people to make fun of the personality people believe he has |
By:
All he does is touch body parts if he feels something. I can promise you that every tennis player feels niggles during matches. Murray chooses to have a touch and check it out. That's not faking unless you want to be a miserable, overcritical sod that's desperately seeking for reasons to dislike someone.

agree aaron, he seems to cut the interviews with the bbc short when they go on like they do. gives short answers and gets away from them ASAP
By:
BBC usually use clueless people to do the interviews doesn't help.
By:
Who cares about the personality. Can they hit the ball inside the line, that's all that counts.
By:
he is not english, but the bbc and crowd at wimby treat him as if he is and i think that annoys him. 'cmon Tim' etc

Mark Petchey @markpetchey70
Pretty impressive rise and rise and rise of @DonnaVekic. Kudos to David Felgate as well.Good be a good bet for a very decent run @Wimbledon Petch a tipster now. |

By:
Murray-Tsonga H2H 7-2, 7-1 recently, 3-0 on grass recently, but not too easily. Tsonga gave up a set to Sijsling and Roger-Vasselin, both decent players; Murray has had poorer opposition.

Becker and Mahut on the grass for me play way above their ranking. didn't see much of Tsonga though |
By:
It's impossible to tip someone who is unseeded for a good run. They could draw Serena Williams R1 and you are instantly done. Plus it's mainly mugs in Birmingham, I notice the price Vekic has been backed down to on here and it's madness imo. Who the f**k backed £207 on Donna @ 20s. They've lost it whoever that was.
By:
Watched Mahut, he played well for half a set. Becker lives for the grass these days, lost about 10 in a row off it.
By:
I never get why the outright markets move so much for form at minor events. Same happened for like Vinci at Katowice. Those tournaments mean next to nothing for the major, yet the market will have their price come in five-fold.
By:
Tsonga looks like he's still suffering from his FO semi.
By:
£207 on Vekic @ 20s literally one of the worst prices of all time.
