Srichaphan or Ancic?

Think you will find a maximum 6 months, not minimum, and you would have to have plenty of previous to get that ![]() |

There was that student from Wales who posted a load of racist crap on Twitter about the Bolton footballer - what did he get, two months?
|
|
By:
although I did see that, and it was really quite offensive.

I think its funny people call this "accidentally"... I mean look at the video, the guy was standing right in front of him FFS, I dont call this an accident
|

Yes. It was stupid. To kick a board in front of the official's legs in the first instance, he must have known it would freak him out, if not injure him.

where are the comments on the bbc website? link please?
|

They seem have been removed. Probably because it is a police thing now, so they have to prevent any prejudice. Either that or I just cant find the web page.

ahh yes, thanks anyway

Just been in touch with David's people to offer my legal services. I'm not sure I'll be called upon though as this is a ridiculous situation. The police will 'investigate' as a complaint has been received, presumably from one A.Castle, but it won't go any further.

I just saw Nalby in Heathrow, he is leaving the country before they arrest him

I know this is like comparing apples and pears, but here goes anyway. Yes, Nalbandian didn't mean the injure the line judge, but that doesn't mean it isn't assault. There are lots of legally different types of assault under British law. If you don't mean to kill someone, you can still get charged with manslaughter even if it was an accident.
While, I agree it's a bit of a waste of time, unfortunately that's not up to the law. If it's the line judge who has complained then he'd have been better just taking civil action. If it's someone else, then they're stepping into something they shouldn't be. |

stupid betfair forum get the quoting system right for once

The line judge was doing his job when an unprovoked attack occured... If you watch the incident, it clearly shows that the raving lunatic Nalbandian kicked the old guy in the leg, if i did that in the street to an old guy sat having a corn beef sandwich while sat on a bench no doubt i would be arrested, to top it off Nalbandian didnt seem that bothered, more bothered that he had defaulted on the match! 100 hours of community service should suffice

If you watch the incident from a distance as it happens it does look like he is kicking the lino, and he would know that iut will make some impact on him. but maybe he just lost the plt. as i say, i dont think there was anything in backplay tht had occurred to make him have it in for thge lino.

more bothered that he had defaulted on the match! ..... why would he PRETEND to care about accidentally rearranging the few remaining hairs on some fossil's balding shin, when he's just potentially blown "who knows what amount" of prize money? (or was it a friendly?)

he has cost himself prize money but not expenses. So effectively he has paid to play in a tournament and got nothing from it.
|
|
By:
so he had won "some money" up until the incident, then forfeited it, correct?
|

Only on this head-cripple convention that is the Bf forum, can this descend into a 'Racism vs Assault' contest.
Well done, spastics. ![]() |

I was thinking about it last night and as pissed off as I would have been I think I would have done my best to put a brave face on and allow the match to continue in the interest of the tournament and fans. May have kicked off after though and tried to get something out of him. |

can't believe anyone is trying to defend bandy. If it was a footballer behaving it such a manner they'd be calling for "the rope". If it was you or I we'd be looking at bird.

I agree with singsing. I cannot for the life of me workout what he thought kicking the piece of wood (which was positioned about two inches away from the official as it was) was going to achieve?!? Even if it hadn't have given way, I still think he'd have ended up following through into him. It was beyond idiotic, completely defied logic and was an unprovoked attack.
