When I used to be able to bet with SS, I'm pretty sure that you didn't get a reset liability when the price changed. So if I got £9 on a 10-1 shot, I couldn't get another £8 on if it drifted to 12-1. It would just be the remaining pennies of liability that the new bet was capped at.

Honestly if you believe me or not I'm not worried at all. I'm only here for the bragging rights

lol bobby
Many firms do reset your limit when the price changes. Many will reset it every 24 hours. I remember backing the lovely Lena 4 days on the trot with a couple of firms. They eventually cut the price on the 4th day |
By:
betmgm and unibet reset every 24 hours. Or did until recently. I think one of them still does.
I remember backing Belgium top 10 in 2023, I kept going back every day for 4 or 5 days and betting the max. Which was only to win £100. But obviously after 5 days, it's £500 |
By:
Not SS. It was a long time ago to be fair, as I can't get on with anyone meaningfully. Some firms reset liability with a price change, some the next day, some never did at all. From my recollection, ss was in the last category. Last year I bet wham with sly about 12 days on a row. Now I'm on the naughty step.

Back to this, there's not a lot really that will make the market think differently right now. The final pimp before voting opens has been saved for Karen at least, it will be presented as her coronation. George will be told he's done so well, they didn't think he could get to the final. She'll get maximums, maybe 3 if no unavoidable stuff ups. He might be nit picked and wholly unlikely to be given maximums however he does. A u turn from the current producer trajectory doesn't seem too likely.

On itt yest they said that jason gilkison chap was choreographing one of the showdances, and we know it's not George's.
By:
Wasn't it Kaz's? She mentioned someone choreographing their dance. the same person who did the CC's?
I think they might play it fair. Yes, Kaz will get lots of praise and possible 3 lots of 40. But with the dances she has she probably deserves it in a final screnario. I'd be surprised if the actively deramp George though |
By:
So just to confirm Cider, the disparity in odds in your opinion, has nothing to do with the semi final voting stats?
By:
The market has priced that in though, ie it's anticipating a Kaz coronation. If I had no skin in the game and was looking to back George, I'd wait until the first mega pimp and voting opening. Not much is cast iron in this game but they've put so much effort into getting Kaz over the line, I don't anticipate them taking the accelerator off of the floor.
By:
Yep I'm gonna wait til the first dance and see if he's worth a cheap cover.
He's dancing his VW first which won't have much room for praise compared to Kaz amazing Argentine Tango and full on ramp for the Midlands to get behind. |
By:
Quite why they have been so desperate for Kaz to win is anybody's guess.
By:
Ticks a box for them? Who knows, maybe we'll never. Nice to be on the right side of the prods intentions though :)
