Just been searching twitter using #SPOTY and found a poll that Sky Bet are running.
nearly 5 days left on it and it currently has 3137 votes, you can't put all the options up coz ive tried to do one before. So these are the ones they used. 27% Keely 61% Littler 9% Bellingham 3% other (comment) Cant wait for social media to fire up on the 17th  |

army I laid Littler top 3 at odds on pre eliminations and a back to lay on Ainslie in the o/r. That's all pre noms. Unless you include backing Verstappen to win the F1 title. Already turned that around into a +ve expectancy. Not interested in laying Littler unless he shortens without good reason.

btw I've seen that bookies twitter poll. About as useful as a chocolate teapot as regards who people will vote for, but it does highlight where the casual money is likely to go. Unfortunately the 9% who think Bellingham will win won't register on the top 3 market.

army, whoever wins or loses, not everyone bets their rent/mortgage money on events you do know? You always seem to have it all on the line however given how incessant your posting is.
Most gamblers here actually use decent money management instead so losses don't matter too much. |

If you read what I've said in the thread, you'll see that I priced Littler at between 2/1 and 5/2 when he was 3.95. I also said I expected him to be shorter. He did shorten but then came The Telegraph poll and he drifted. I also said I think he'll shorten again. Wouldn't be very sensible for me to lay him under those circumstances.
If you don't want me to post then stop replying to my posts yourself. That's not rocket science. |

One thing I’ve learned from this thread is that how nice it is not having to sit in a bookie and be pestered by characters like Army. He would drive you mad and you’d end up thumping him as he wouldn’t shut up. Thank god for the invention of the Internet.

And you are effectively sitting on a winning even money shot as things stand. Quick way to the poor house that strategy.
