The big question is presuming Stokes starts taking part from the next game, being captain would he have to do anything outstanding to win SPOTY if they did win the cup ? Given he's already world cricketer of the year.
Obviously being captain catapults him to the top of the list by default, but is another player did do something outstanding they'd also be in contention i take it ? |

Believe me i'd love to be in your position, easy to cover now. I was sought of hoping earps would still be over 2/1 after the Englands crashed out but looking like odds on now.

ive backed england out right in rugby and cricket to cover my earps bet, pointless backing individuals..if they do fluke a win and no one does anything special there is a chance you can pick on both cups or one and still pick up on earps. no brainer to me

Was there a potential candidate late on last year? Can't remember. They have to prepare vt's so you'd think they'd have to be ready well in advance. They've done one with earps already holding the trophy
