Better competition this year with two songs entered as opposed to none last year. Those are Armenia and Iceland. They are huge prices because they clearly don't reflect the kind of rubbish that invariably cleans up. Let's hope it is still possible to have a Common Linnets moment. Clearly Ukraine will win so need to wait for the without and qualification markets.

can I ask a couple of dumb questions (I haven't watched Eurovision for decades)

1) it used to be that the winner has to host the following years event, it that still the case?

2) given that 'all bets stand, run or not' how likely are Ukraine to 'run' ?
(ball park guesses anyone?)
coz Ukraine @ 1.12-1.16 on a top 10 finish is probably a proxy bet on run/no run.
