BF on the ball again - not unsuspending markets

As useless as ever. Hopefully they'll get round to it soon without someone having to give them a nudge
By:
Emma `theatre jazz`? `Razzle Dazzle` or `And All That Jazz`?
By:
Top two now 1/3 to win it. Who'll finish 3rd and 4th you think?
By:
By:
Think Michelle and Saffron 3rd and 4th personally if I had to guess but tbh other than Kelvin and Karim it’s all on a week by week basis for the remaining lot, one bad dance could be enough for them to go. I’d say Chris and Mike are the only ones that can’t reach the final. Can’t imagine Alex Scott as a big vote getter but if the judges keep overmarking her she could manage 4th by default.
By:
Yes surely not Chris and Mike for 3rd or 4th but I agree the others just about a much of a much so anybody's.
By:
My only ITT of the week.
Ian's comments Saffron & AJ Waltz lovely waltz love passing natursls go into a quite good pivot lovely releasing of toes posture has improved lovely shaping just needs to close her feet Michelle & Giovanni AmSm (FT) most consistent of all really good FT part of the AmSm lovely posture does the standing spin with side steps rather than running forward will create more speed Kelvin & Oti Salsa his Samba was great this is similar but with a different technique great partnering skills looking like it will be a great dance like their samba Chris & Karen Tanga not so sure this will be Chris's dance going wrong on the whisk loves the fact that Chris looks like he has suddenly fallen in love with dancing |
By:
suppose the week after Blackpool it might be the -a-thon
By:
probably the week after at 6
By:
more Ian
Karim & Amy VW not as good as last week QS by some way struggling with his reverses into the left struggling to rotate quite turned out feet needs to drive from a standing leg and not drop his left hand side Mike & Katya PD looks like they are stepping through it at the moment needs to work on his shaping through the body and the arms Alex & Neil?, still KfG atm Jive not stretching and pointing her toe enough but still an improvement might be better with Kevin than she was with Neil but will find out tomorrow Emma and anton Theatre Jazz in love with it brilliant Gold Star for progress this week - Emma |
By:
it's going to be her dance
By:

TPTB have shafted Anton enough to deflect any possible charges of fixing his pre-retirement coronation for a lifetime`s service; the comeback journey to victory starts this weekend.

Bad dances for Alex and Emma I think.
By:
Now 2/9 one of the top two win it.
Who'll finish third to these good things? |
By:
Saffron for me Lou
By:
Yes she's the nearest to them for me too but a fair way back. Two horse race surely.
By:
It's 1/6 now the top two. Where's the payout window?
By:
Michelle been dropped from Arena tour. Her days are numbered.

Emma and Anton with a great song to fill the Blackpool floor. That's what the punters want classic tunes not all this modern rubbish from the 80's onwards!
Stronger at the ballroom stuff IMO, Anton 'The King' by her side I think she'll be through safely. Hope so it suits me. Chris in trouble I think looking at those tunes and dances. |
By:
What a truly awful song for Alex. Of all the millions of songs ever made .......... that's the number one they could come up with for her dance, the absolute best they could think of? Awful and could be in trouble me thinks (and hopes!)
By:
Michelle’s will be a vote winner
By:
I don't personally like the 'Street/Couples Choice' nonsense but yes a popular song that she will no doubt deliver a strong performance with.
Have to say very open now, bar Chris who we could all pick as an obvious contender to go it could be just about any of the others in the DO with him. He may not even be in the DO so two big names will be in trouble. We're all hoping our 'Greens' are safely through to the following week. |

I’ve gone in quite heavily on Karim (as i see him as huge value) to the point I’m actually now losing a tenner on Kelvin (much more on a lot of the field). So I’m just praying for Karim at this point. Surely he goes sub 4 at some point? Or am I off base here?
By:
On ability, clearly not off base at all. He`s probably the best, but the market knows ability means diddly, assuming Kelvin`s more overt sex appeal to the MEMs will prevail. Anyone backing Karim will likely not see his price ever reach the lows that reflect how good he is, little opportunity to trade out, having instead to hold the green until the final and hope for the best.

I've said before I think Karim is actually the best dancer, he seems so light on his feet and can really move well but in the looks department he's just a bit Jo Average whereas the other guy is much easier on the eye with his muscles and White 'Gumshield look' teeth. I think Karim will drop in odds a bit, I myself backed him at 9/2 yesterday on here hoping he may actually go on and win it. He must make the Final 3 I think and realistically only has Kelvin to beat so yes I agree a good price at the moment. Good luck. |

Broadway / Musicals theme next week

actually that might be 2 weeks away

Waite's Warm Up
Wand ready in pocket LB of all scores, Kelvin has been most consistent rather than Michele which Ian said last week. Great Gatsby-themed QS for Saffron and AJ fast fun and energetic, will get the audeince going make sure she stretches to the right in promenade to get her head position right Emma & Anton AmSm (FT) beautiful flow contact throughout releasing toes already done FT lovely head position to the left but shoulders are rising too much and arm is too straight, needs to soften it minor details Michele & Giovanni Vogue Michele needs to wear a bra when training - that's me speaking not Ian looks like she will be wearing a bustle Vogueing is all about striking poses Michele was one of the original Voguers apparently |
By:
Oti is full of it tonight
![]() |
By:
kicking and flicking looks light footed
By:
Rest of Ian's comments
Karim and Amy charleston lots of content so fast has all the charleston moves boundless energy quality of moves not so clear does the splits (sort of) Alex & Neil PD using her cape very nicely wafting it around right attitude and look and focus great character concerned by her shoulders, needs to keep them back when going forwards Chris & Karen Salsa good rhythm not a bad salsa action and the feel for it loves his great partnering skills connecting with her wrist well needs to have more finesse in his extremities finishing off with hands and feet Kelvin and Oti jive going to be a great dance lovely patacakes nneds to pick up his centre more to pick up his knees more turning foot in too much when flicking and kicking Gold Star goes to Michele as Ian is so excited to see it |
By:
Karim and Amy look to be cramming way too much in again. Appreciate you can get away with it with a charleston, but does look absolutely manic and frenetic.
By:
Alex's hunched shoulders do look very unattractive in the in-hold dances. Side-by-side fun dances have been much better for her.
