Couldn't spot a single heel lead in that foxtrot by Michelle but the judges didn't mention that. Mind you, she had dry ice to hide her footwork for half of it.
By:
Perhaps they'll bring Dev back to take Will's place just so there's someone who can mount some sort of challenge to the top two.
Wink! |
By:
Pretty selfish of Neil just to have Alex learn the routine on her own. Would have expected to see another male pro dancing with her
By:
Must be someone in the background surely if he's supposed to be on crutches rather than just bring someone in with an hours notice again. Probably Kevin again steps in.

Does Will leaving mean there is no elimination this week?
By:
Put Alex and Janette together
beat DOI to it |
By:
I imagine there will be an elimination and there will be three in the final rather than four, which I prefer anyway
By:
If there is an elimination this week i think Will going means battle of the Emma’s is all but guaranteed bottom 2

Surely Chris and Mike must be in the mix too for B2? |
By:
4/11 now one of the top two wins this. Not a bad bet me thinks as a class above the rest.
By:
The Chris vote seems very strong, think he’s good for a few more weeks. Mike is doing a charleston which is almost always over marked and will probably be a bit of a vote winner. Emma W is lucky to still be here and I think it might all fall into place for an Emma B bottom 2.
Based on previous scores and the dances they have this week: I’m thinking judges scores Kelvin 9 Michelle 8 Saffron 7 Karim 6 Mike 5 Alex 4 Emma W 3 Emma B 2 Chris 1 Public vote Kelvin 9 Michelle 8 Karim 7 Saffron 6 Chris 5 Mike 4 Alex 3 Emma B 2 Emma W 1 Total Kelvin 18 Michelle 16 Karim 13 Saffron 13 Mike 9 Alex 7 Chris 6 Emma B 4 Emma W 4 |

By:
I reckon Kelvin will struggle to be top this week. Looks between Michelle and Karim. Kelvin still not great in ballroom hold based on the training video
By:
Certainly agree with the 2 Emma's angle. Mike and Chris both have friendly dances this week. Think Emma B is some value at 40/1 for elimination this week given she has got the Rumba. She could be very near the bottom of the leaderboard and may even struggle to beat Emma W in any potential dance off.

By:
Hope you’re right about Kevin, not as green as I’d like to be on him. I feel like a Vienesse Waltz to say something could be a bit of a moment, very emotional.
By:
Don't see how Emma W 'lucky to be here'?
For me bar the top 2 and possibly Saffron she's as good as anyone in it. Nice girl, trying her best, popular partner I think she's done very well so far. Without seeing the dances almost a pure lottery who will be B2 bar us knowing that surely Chris and Mike are a league behind the others on dance ability. |
By:
Not lucky in terms of ability, just lucky in that I don’t think she’s doing well in public vote and is probably close to b2 most weeks.
I disagree that it’s a lottery. I think you can use the knowledge of the dancers we do have to predict how they will do st certain dances. Michelle will suit the paso IMO, likewise I don’t see Emma B doing too well with the rumba. Public vote harder to predict but from speaking to people and social media I think Kevin, Karim, Saffron and Michelle have a bit of a base vote that should see them near the top most weeks. Chris is clearly doing well for him to have avoided B2 so far despite low scores. Public vote will vary week on week based on the dances themselves but this probably in line with judges scores. I could be completely wrong but surely trying to predict what will happen is the name of the game here? |

Yes I appreciate your logic but bar the once when Emma W was B2 (although that's some sort of evidence to be fair) she's sailed safely through every week. I'd guess overall points wise she's be about 6th on the leaderboard up until now so plenty below her I think. That said I see what you mean about maybe Michelle being suited by a slow Paso and Emma B not sexy enough for the rumba. Still think if I were a betting man though I'd fancy Chris for B2 but yes Mike's got a popular dance so may well be ok. Let's see ............. |

Alex dancing with KfG again.
Neil needs another weekend of rest and will be ready to continue on Monday. |

Neil still injured, so Alex is dancing The American Smooth with KfG again

Katya bigging up Mike's Charleston saying "it suits him perfectly"
By:
Yes I guessed it would be Kevin if anyone as why bring in another Professional again may as well stick with him.
By:
May have been going overboard when I said 2 Emma’s guaranteed B2 but think Emma B great value for 6th elim at 20s

Yes fair play you has both Emma in trouble now one's gone and the other was right down at the bottom so good call. She's got the Rumba out of the way now though so should kick on a bit but as I've said all along (and I'm large Green as I've said all along) she's not great is she. Clear third favourite right the way though it but looking no better than all the other girls left in it and probably the worst of the four. I'll also say again that I thought Karim was excellent again tonight and the best dancer in it for me. The other guys good too but it's all looks and muscles. I think Karim definitely the best dancer of the two so a good bet at his odds with Kelvin being so short priced. |
By:
I agree, i only had Emma down at the bottom based on the dance she was doing, imagine she will be fine this week, seems she is doing well in the public vote as well. Getting to the stage where a Mike and Chris dance off is imminent now I think.
Two horse race between Karim and Kelvin. I make Kevin favourite but reckon it could go either way based on how they dance in the final. Karim great value. I’m green on both but would like to be a bit greener on Kelvin, hoping for a Karim surge, but if the 39 last night didn’t do it I’m not sure what will. |

Yes I've kept them both onside right from the off so large Green on both for me. I think Karim really good value (it makes absolutely no difference to the penny which one wins to me just being honest)at the odds. Like I said I think technically he's definitely the better dancer whereas the other guy's all teeth and muscles. Don't get me wrong he's good but once again look at Karim last night. Now that was a genuine 9/10 he was terriffic so for me he could well win this yet ones been odds on and the other about 4/1? No brainer who I'd be backing if I were to. |

This really was a shocking dance.
The fast fun upbeat dances look really terrible when performed poorly. |
