While I think everyone is nice this year, a lot of them have done things to undermine that. Harry slating nick will have put some people off, fleur and Emily just seem to annoy a lot of people, some people don’t like that Anne won’t do trials. John can be annoying also and a bit try hard. Nick seems a bit serious and also a bit try hard. Rita can also be annoying. I think James is the least offensive. His problem is that he seems to lack any sort of personality.
He needs to have some good, funny moments and I think he becomes a contender.

Obvious he would make it this far (and further imo). Betting market has just never agreed.

So we know with these shows the ‘nice’ vote is often very strong, unlike Anne James has actually smashed the trials so maybe I’m on the right track here lol
Fair to say James is the most likely to benefit the most from Anne’s elimination as well
Apart from Harry the other 4 are extremely marmite with the audience, Nick for being up himself and the other three just really try hard and annoying.
James apart from genuine and nice is also a big default runner imo

James has also been giving up food for Harry to eat more, in the queue for the pub it didn’t go unnoticed how James was wiping the bugs off Harry, again looking after him, it appears they have struck up quite a Bond we’ve not really been shown.
It appears they have the best friendship in camp, which hopefully we’ll now see with just 6 left, hopefully anyone voting Harry will now throw one or two votes James way to.

Another thing worth noting is James bandmates who are begging for votes constantly, have a vast network with one band member from Birmingham, another from Edinburgh, one from Exeter while James has connections to Chester and Bournemouth.

As boring as James is, his potential vote has a great deal of diversity with the last added bonus he’s a mems perfect son

Just looked through old pages - Seems Dougie hit 15s during that year, but it was full of no hopers. In the final, Mark was 1.3 and Dougie was 4s, despite Dougie romping the polls.

Just downloaded Lorraine from this morning, big point made of how James is wasting away coz he’s been giving away half his food to Harry, usually when something has leaked like this and gets lots of media attention it’s usually verified by being shown in the edit.
