Also, I was slightly puzzled why Amanda would ask the girl, what is it like being back in Manchester? I wonder if it was scripted. What was the point of the question? Couldn't help but feel bad for her. I have been to a concert in manchester, wouldn't go now.

Of course it was scripted. They are shameless (no pun intended). The questions are loaded to eek out as much emotional impact as possible. The act is just being cynically used by the production team unfortunately. If they hadn't managed to induce tears from Hollie and the other girls it would have been viewed as an abject failure. One just hopes that she's benefited from the experience overall once BGT has had their use of them. |

Yes; they were dire, and I don`t think the GBP will let the emotional angle overcome such a fatal flaw in the act itself. Or, more accurately, a price of 11 didn`t reflect the chances of the GBP buying into it.
