Onto Oz now. Red and black deramp. She's a good performer but vocals still iffy

100% this. It was an artificial promotion created price. Still is, even after slight drift. You can always tell by the T10 price. It's caught up now but severely lagged for days.

And using Kostov tonight is a silly gimmick. Why do they need gimmicks.

the houdini lock pick trick was good. But, for some talented people, can go underwater for way over like hour or more. Check it out. Or over five minutes no problem. So compared to generally,... doing that trick holding breath is a good act...but just a bit over rated.

over an hour or more

or over 5 minutes

I think the world record is like over five hours...

In 2012, German freediver Tom Sietas held his breath underwater for 22 minutes and 22 seconds, besting Dane Stig Severinsen's previous Guinness record by 22 seconds. (Although Guinness still lists Severinsen as the record holder, stating he hyperventilated with oxygen before his attempt for 19 minutes and 30 seconds.)

Does it count as a record if they're dead?

I think I could do 500 hours. Before decomposing.

Gosh - the mediocrity in these shows being bigged up into something great by the back stories, the accompanying music, the comments, the SOs.

The well is dry.

The barrel has had its last scrape.

Too true squares. The 'magician' using his family's trials and tribulations struck me as particularly desperate. Similar to MPC. We know they put a lot of the best stuff they have in the locker out in the first show, so it's going to be another long one.

And it seems to be more and more prevalent that they must have a campaign to plug or illness / tragedy to open up about.

There must be hundreds of better choirs than that Be Positive mob - like the MPC.

The sob stories have actually crossed into being a part of the performances themselves. 100% prod induced. There's a few boxes left to tick on BGT. These include a solo child act, a choir act and a danger act. No coincidence that they were the acts promoted but none of them had the feel of a potential winner to me.

They will no doubt go into overdrive for the young girl from the Manchester bombing who appears on the show.

Yup. However if an act is largely relying on the emotional heartstrings, they only really get one big pop at it. So the hand is played in the audition and then by the final it's nothing new. I'm surprised they've not yet gone down the golden buzzer straight to the final route.

If you had a golden buzzer straight to the final you'd have less chance of winning.  I know there is a tendency to put strong acts on early, but I thought despite the lack of outstanding talent, the show had good variety and was entertaining.  Maybe this time there are better acts to come.

The magic act was total dross with cynical sentimentality thrown in to exploit weak minded viewers.
I would have buzzed as soon as he played the sympathy card.Angry
