It was the side markets that made me the £££s. They have more or less evaporated. Take BB if you're not around for the half hour the first bookie prices up an eviction, forget it.

exactly Fig, double standards seems to be the way they're going

They even have a 'who killed Lucy Beale' market

I suppose in theory bf don't have inside information.

They have as much as us

A relative of someone who was at the front of the market but didn't get through could lay with impunity.

I realise some of the books have knowledge and read the spoilers etc. All the betting on the shows before lives begin should be 'with a run'
|
|
By:
All the HS bookies take bets on people they know aren't through. Anna McLuckie being one. Betfair doing the same now

Maybe we're being to cynical about Paddy. you tube views are off the scale. I just didn't see it have vote appeal once past the surprise factor.

The fact she won Spains BGt will surely work against her

Every day people either won't know or won't be bothered. Especially if the prods push it.

You should be called Diet Coke not Cider.

lol
At a risk of repeating myself, my target was 12stone. I hit a wall at 13 stone and it was impossible to lose that last bit. Didn't matter what I did, exercise, down to about 500 cals a day. Got so frustrated gave up and in a year I was back to 15. Now probably back at 17. |

You're not filling me with the motivation I'm looking for

I believe we have a 'natural' bodyweight through genes etc. Some people are born to be 'fat' some 'normal' and some 'thin'. You can beat nature to some extent by being a gym bunny, starvation or slothing. But your body will always gravitate to its 'natural' weight.
|
|
By:
Genes certainly play a part.Simple intake v output equation though predominantly.
|
|
By:
It is but for everyone the equilibrium is different. I have an office job so mainly sedentary. To stay at 13 stone I'd virtually have to starve myself, 600-700 calories a day.
I don't have a healthy lifestyle either tbf. It's a bit of both. |
|
By:
Just can't get the enthusiasm for BGT.Its my least favourite of the RTV shows, and bizarrely the highest viewer figures,
Yep...I sit on my backside also for long periods of time in my job.....as you say,it's not conducive to weight loss. |
|
By:
I went from 17 and half down to 13 and a half about 4 years ago and I've kept it all off.
13 and a half is probably about my natural weight. I only went up to over 17 by constantly eating crap. Especially between meals |
|
By:
I'm very big boned.
|

When I put the weight back on family and friends said I looked healthier. I should really have a pop at losing the belly again.
For some motivation, it's kind of addictive when you start losing weight significantly. It's weird but you don't feel yourself (ooer missus) where you did before. I had to put new holes in my belts and eventually buy new ones. I weighed myself daily and was losing about 1lb per day. You can actually feel your body burning the fat, or I could. I did 30 minutes strenuous exercise every day for 9 months. Most people will say I lost it too fast. |
|
By:
That's good going Fig. How many calories would you consume per day at an average?
|
|
By:
I certainly didn't burn any fat
Never been near a gym in my life |
|
By:
If I could have reached my target I probably would have maintained it. It was so annoying not to be able to reach the magical 12 stone.
|
|
By:
No idea tbh Cider. I just stopped eating between meals. Just the occasional snack. Plus changed to semi skimmed milk.
My general diet is fairly healthy as I'm a veggie. It's just the dairy I need to keep an eye on |
|
By:
I just got into the habit of eating a treacle tart and couple of packet of crisps most nights
|

What is the lowest weight you've been hems? Since you've been an adult obviously
