I suspect the 'old' Bucks would have taken the race easily. Happy with the bet, perhaps 'chasing will show us the Annie Power that so many people seemed to think exists.

just shows you how hard race riding is when you see these all spaced out all over the shop, and some of them are experienced horsemen/women

I doubt that I will be back on BF poker, entered a sat for the Irish open, disconnected for most of it, still not back in 1/2 hour later

s disappointing renewal on paper.

I've been avoiding Nicholls' runners this meeting and although he nearly had a winner yesterday, I still am.

Ferguson has driven me nuts this meeting.  Boy can that man talk the talk.  Talked up all his runners big style, but they've shown nothing so for that reason I'll leave Broughton alone (which will probably end up driving me even more nuts).

So at the prices

Pearl Castle, Rutherglen (maybe Abbyssial and Plinth)

looks a minefield.

Like Upazo at the price and Lyvius (think I'll cover all Henderson's horses at the prices) and maybe Runswick Royal and Morning Royality a couple of Northern outsiders.

1.30 Royal Irish Hussar & Guitar Pete
2.05 Cheltenian & Alaivan
2.40 Kings Palace
3.20 Silviniaco Conti
4.00 Not had a bet yet.
4.40 Royal Regatta
5.15 Ned Buntline & His Excellency

I'm a few quid down going into the final day, although it could have been a lot worse if Spring Heeled hadn't won the last yesterday.

2.40 looks all about half a dozen from those at the front end of the market.

Briar Hill too short for me, so prefer Kings Palace at the prices and possibly Captain Cutter.  Urban Hymn of those at longer odds.  Was hoping Deputy Dan would be much more an outsider.

3.20 rather boringly I think incident free and Bobs Worth will win again.  The next two in are too short for me (sincerely hope Last Inst. doesn't win).  The GB too short for win purposes.  Very difficult to find a stand-out outsider tbp as there are about half a dozen who could do it.  At a push, Lord W.
