OGAE have been right with the 2 landslide winners and last years winner but in 2011 Azerbaijan was 7th in the OGAE poll with the poll winner being Hungary which was placed near the bottom in the contest. In 2010 when Germany won it was placed 3rd in the poll which had Denmark as the winner. I do feel that this year is going to be another 2010/11 with regards to poll winner differing from contest winner as nothing really stands out in my opinion. It will be down to position and performance on the night that will clinch the trophy.

OGAE are not representative of a Saturday night primetime tv audience. You can see in their polling results that they are skewed by 'fanboys' with fanboy favourites polling highly with them like Hungary 2011 and San Marino last year - which didn't even qualify for the final. It's the same every year in the press centre when they have the OGAE voting going on in there. It's about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
