Watching the response to the Ukranians on BGT
Maybe it's people taking that seriously then tim. |
|
By:
Not doing great in polling from what I can see, either.
I'm saying this after backing them and leaving them green, should add. |
|
By:
Indeed, stu. Especially when you might reasonably imagine that the average BGT audience member surely would have very little interest in, or knowledge of, what`s going on. Maybe I`m doing them a disservice? Which would then beg the question: Would the average ESC voter be more clued up and, therefore, even more sympathetic?

Has Aram been a naughty boy again? Last price matched, 4.3
|

By:
i got a bit of 4.4, think 4.5 was matched too, it's either someone who's really clued up or it's not.
That said it's done my book a world of good ![]() |

got this shindig nailed this year for sure...unless Armenia have "bought" a win, it's not good enough to win.
semi 1 is between Sweden and Armenia...semi 2 between Finland and Greece...of the big5, Italy and Spain are clearly the best...if you're looking for "the longshot" try Belarus. if Loreen had not won in 2011, i'd be all over Sweden but i can't see eurovision going back there so soon. of the other fancied runners...Ukraine? has had seaveral excellent entries in recent years but this year they send a cheesey typical euro song...Denmark? won last year, end of...UK? say no more...Hungary? a song about child abuse, are you kidding?...Norway? ain't good enough...Azeri? is a morose dirge...Austria? a tranny with a beard, really ?...Belgium? some fat bloke singing about his mother, sickening...Romania? is a dissjointed mess of a song. bye4now. |

Milan - your so called Tranny won for Israel in 1998. Surprise surprise.

Do you not think the beard might go against this tran. though? |

Hi Henry. I am very ill but must go on and hope that you are well. My SEC record is awful. However my luck perhaps will change.
|
|
By:
Henry - my top few in terms of chances are:
|
|
By:
1. Sweden, 2. Belgium, 2. Austria, 4. UK.
|
|
By:
Sweden's lady looks ultra confident and so so ready for the challenge. Belgium's fella is a strong singer but his confidence needs to improve to win. Austria's man/lady puts it over very nicely and should be in the top 4 at least. UK has a nice song that is very catchy. Romania look set for a smooth passage into the final and look very very overpriced at 90 ish on here (20/1 to 25/1 with bookies), since they have the final semi slot yet again.
|
|
By:
Austria should fare a lot better than the odds suggest. Conchita will surely receive loads of sympathy votes as a result of Mr MP3's disgusting words. Armenia looks to me the first seriously false hotpot favourite for many years. I do like the second fav however. The only way that Armenia will win is if the result has been pre-determined - and that may well have happened in the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
|
By:
Romania are half that price SH

Sorry you're ill.
Your list is surprisingly OGAE'ish. Have you taken part in any online ESC polls? |

I've done a fair amount of backing of the top 4 this evening. Some layer was barging in and pushing the prices out, particularly of the top 2. Looks like he's gone away now and prices have crept down again.

|
By:
Any reasons why the market has changed so dramatically the last couple of hours?

the layer was here this afternoon too, prices were been matched here there & everywhere on some of the entries

Sunshine will more than 1% of the audience know what he said? I don't even know what he said. I've just read some Armenians saying it was disinfo and I've just seen the clip of Aram meeting Conchita and saying that he made a joke which was misquoted. |
