I think she's mad and should have taken Saturday off. For the rest of the series there'll be a Sword of Damocles hanging over her.

Talk about melodramatic, if she had a slipped disc she certainly would not be dancing on Saturday. Playing the sympathy trick me thinks.

She must have a back problem, hauling that #$%$ of hers around the dancefloor ;-)

Glad to hear Natalie is fine, but she's got serious competition from Sophie who looks the class of the field already and her Rumba tomorrow night should hopefully get back her no.1 spot on the leaderboard.

If she had a real back problem, disc or otherwise, I doubt whether Strictly would allow her to risk serious, long-lasting injury by dancing again on Saturday, speaking as one whose daughter has had constant back trouble since childhood, and many injections etc. it would not be considered just for... In my experience if she had a genuine slipped disc she would still be on her back and would not be able to dance for at least another 6 weeks.

She actually drifted to a more realistic price during this injury drama.

If it's genuine she's a long shot to finish the course. I also suffered what she is reported to have, I couldn't even get in and out of my car. The pain is indescribable and to be honest dancing of any description would have been impossible. Dulling the area could cause irreversible damage, in the name of a meaningless celebrity dance show would be ridiculous.  It's either being exacerbated out of all proportion, or she will have to quit.

As I predicted in my earlier post.

Get the violins out when they play the VT. She will obviously be hoping that 'struggling on' will gain her far more popularity than the three dances she has done. Clearly if she was very badly injured she would already be out of the competition - only a complete attention seeker would sacrifice their health for the sake of trying to win a competition like this.

I wouldn't be backing a crock at 1.8. She'll take some nursing to the final. Luckily she probably only needs a few hours of training a week to produce the best dance
