Feeling fairly c0cky about this bet now. Must try not to count chickens yet, though.

The bookies had imminent birth insanely short for the past 2 weeks, was happily piling on the 20/1+ for days around now. It's never ever 2/1 for a woman to give birth on a particular day like they were suggesting

Now just need the right name and it's a nice payday

Alexandra was 40/1 early days, then has been repeatedly hammered in. Very suspicious imo, no rational person would bet it down to near evens

Name of his nanny from childhood, Tiggy, is actually Alexandra who he was very fond of, amongst other things - it has a lot going for it

I'm on Alexandra at 47s for the simple reason that if it's a girl she's going to be Queen someday. Royal family tends to stick to traditional names, so outside of Elizabeth, Victoria and Mary, Alexandra seemed like most reasonable choice given Princess Alexandra and Victoria's first name was Alexandrina. It'll be a boy now though.
