If you lot are calculating it this way as below.
1000 votes James got 517 Jah got 315 Chris got 168 Since Chris's eviction Another 1262 votes totalling 2262 Chris 168 James 1214 - 517 = 697 (Sunday) Jah 880 - 315 = 565 (Sunday) So James got more votes since Chris's eviction. What i did was calculate it without Chris's votes, hence a tad confused at first but can see where FLL is going. |

Angels Jahmene's lowest % since week 2 - bad choice for final.

He did that last week and was nearly evicted

I'm impressed with all you guys doing maths now. I'm too knackered to see the keyboard properly.

Given a sympathy vt every single week, Jahmene actually did pretty cr@p.
By:
Looking at the week before the James/ Ella B2, the percentages were
Week 6 Christopher Maloney 23.6% Jahmene Douglas 14.9% James Arthur 14.0% Ella Henderson 13.0% They could have chosen any of the 3 to win then. Though not sure what more they could have done for Jahmene. They chose James. |

Cowell has got 4 or 5 lps if he wants them
Not sure too many of them will be making a second lp |
By:
lp's? I thought I was the only one who still played them

Week 6 is interesting cos all of them were +10%. Union J were bottom two despite a voting increase from their 4th place the previous week! I think it was wide open at that stage.

I still think week 6 was planned.
They'd thrown the kitchen sink at Jahmene and he couldn't beat Chris. So they had to get rid of James or Ella and then push one the other one. They chose James, but Ella would have won just as easily. |

Are they called albums these days ?
By:
week 7 I mean
By:
Never really wide open - as certain acts have far bigger potential as vote grabbers
James and Ella ultimately, or who survived the longest |
By:
yep, albums I think donny

James Arthur - v interesting looking at his vote compared to singing position. Given pimp slot each time following his lowest votes.
By:
That's TCO fink
By:
Melanie given pimp slot after poor vote in week 1. Didn't help :).
By:
Everyone was in bed by the time she performed and those who were still watching will have wished they'd been in bed.
By:
So I still think Ella was TCO until week 3/4 when they started to doubt. Coincided with some awful song choices : performances of course. But with Chris top and Jahmene unable to debt his lead they panicked and needed to ditch one of Ella or James to put weight behind remaining act as the one to beat...
All very cynical, but it does show how TPTB can manipulate this to the end, without the desired put one for the first 7 or so weeks. It's all about momentum going into Semi and Final. They honed their skill with Little Mix last year and executed it to perfection with James this year. |

Has anyone got a list of deadlock and judges choice's?

James won, not so much because he became the chosen one above Ella and Jahmene, he won because he justified the support. His performance of Falling in the bottom 2 was probably the best performance of the series. His momentum continued with Let's Get It On and Power Of Love. He was just better than the rest of them, and that's why he won. |

Have to disagree TM.James simply wouldn't have been allowed to sing Lets Get It On if he wasn't the favoured act.
I think the vast majority of the forum would agree with you that he was the best act,but he still needed help from TPTB to get over the line... 1. Saved when in bottom 2 2.Given voter friendly songs to sing from that point onwards 3.The constant celebrity endorsement 4.The continued Judges ramping 5.Powerful VT's in the final in particular If Ella was saved in the sing-off,then recieved the same help that James did from the prods,I don't think it's too far fetched to believe she would have won. |
By:
I don't disagree that he was the favoured act. The point is he justified the support with performances of a much higher quality than Ella was capable of giving imo.
By:
Quite possibly yes....but I think some people on here (myself included) believe she still would have won ,even if her performance level wasn't as high as what James produced. All about opinions of course.
By:
I think she would have lost to Jahmene

The voting shows he wasn't even nearly as popular as people imagined.
Without the ramps and vt's he'd have gone mid series |
