That poll backs up the thinking of many on here, that DVO isn't going to be everyones cup of tea

Was listening to 5 Live earlier who played an interview with VP.She talked about self harming after winning Gold in Beijing, and also of problems with the coaching staff re her boyfriend situation.Didnt catch the whole of the interview, but she certainly seems a very intense individual.Would imagine her to take this pretty seriously.....maybe too seriously.

Came across very well on TM earlier, as she did on TOS on Monday.

Very humble, down to earth, etc., different to what I was expecting.

You could argue that Kimberley has a similar advantage, but no one has. Also given the vibes she's going to be very good and potentially more popular than DVO.
Maybe a decent bet for Top Female.

Louis has got personality GB1. Lots of it, for the girlies in any case. And he is a gay icon, apparently.

Yeah OC. You don't need to be a drama queen to succeed on this. Quite the opposite really

I didn't see it, but many reports of him taking defeat well and congratulating the winner when he might have been the rightful winner himself. It may give forumites a laugh Tongue Out but my old dear not only knew who he was but couldn't wait to see him when I told her he was going to be on SCD. That's a big indicator he will appeal to the right people.

from unrtv

Louis Smith has revealed that he would much rather perform on Strictly Come Dancing than the X Factor.

The Olympic medal winning gymnast tried out for the ITV show a few years ago and was rejected by Simon Cowell and his judging panel, after they claimed that his talent just wasn’t up to scratch.

The 23 year old sportsman then decided to leave his music dreams behind him and pour all his efforts into his gymnastics and after scooping a gold and a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympics, we’d say the work was worth it.

In an interview with Metro, the handsome star told the newspaper that he found the whole X Factor process ‘shambolic’ and ‘awful’. Speaking about Strictly, he added:

‘This is a real show.’

What gold medal did he "scoop"? I must have blinked.

I suspect his price will shorten after he gets highlighted doing his back flips etc in the group dance and we all assume he is TCO.
