German 1st Milan slight correction

I think draws 19 and 20 I will have to refer to now as dull and duller....
![]() |
By:
I'm with you on Germany Milan - I've never 'got' this entry's price, other than the fact that it's a so-called pretty boy act, but surely is that enough for this dross?
By:
I like Turkey btw but thats no surprise
Its coming together nicely. Full costume performance should be great |
By:
lol Bex.
Vocal sounds strong. Not sure whether the band or just him standing alone would work better, but plenty of close-ups of him will have teenage girls all over europe texting like crazy....and a fair few of their mums on the phone too. For me me it should be half the price of Norway. |
By:
if that german song does not drop like a big turd in a toilet...then no one is watching these vids imo.
By:
That Turkey or Germany you mean five? ^^^
By:
He's very good vocally and i like the song. Its impossible for us to tell how he is interacting with the cameras from these videos but its just a bit meh. Nothing going on staging wise to enhance the song
By:
did someone say Turkey is better than Norway ?...oh dear...Turkey sounds like a nagging mother-in-law FFS !
By:
Germany stu I'll answer for him
![]() |
By:
No Germany better than Norway which u will find equally wrong no doubt
![]() |

Germany Stu.
Good looking guy, singing a decent song that is jury friendly and viewer friendly, from trap 20, must surely be a runner. I seem to be on my own tho ![]() |
By:
At 40 I'll keep him green from that draw. Its bound to improve and may actually be ok on the tv screens if he's giving 'good face'
![]() |
By:
Turkey for me starts well, but doesn't deliver.
By:
"A DECENT SONG" '5'...it's phuck!ng rubbish !
By:
lol yep, the new phrase from jr. Was it 'good face' or 'good camera'? 'Good camera' wasn't it.
By:
ok funky
Your view of what's rubbish and mine have differed a lot over the years and I'm sure they'll continue to ![]() |
By:
Have to agree about the song being weak - fair enough he'll pull in some 'fanciable' votes, but the song is nothing IMO. Anyone else singing that song and it would be 300+ on here.
By:
I listened back to my top 10 video before the German Copyright police got their hands and I was surprised at how well it stood it and I was [lanning to move it up a fair few places.
That may say more about my top 10 tho ![]() |

their hands on it* ffs.

I'm backing Turkey for top 10, made up my mind
![]() Even last years non-q may have made top 10 which sounds ridiculous but it was stitched up last year with none of its voting allies in the semi. Look at its overall ESC record and tell me why its 2.8 for top 10 based on that? Its a shoe -in for me ![]() |
By:
There's definitely a good song trying to get out, when it comes to Turkey.
2.8 looks a good price based on their record. I don't think those dad rockers with the woman in a cage would have got anywhere near the top 10 tho. |
By:
Anggun is joined on stage with five backing dancers, two of whom also do vocals. She’s wearing normal clothes but has a floaty white cape which looks good at the end when being used with the wind machine. The backdrop has blue and red lights/lasers and has a disco vibe. Anggun is singing it very well and with relative ease but there needs to be some work done on camera angles and choreography.

Took some 1.2 Tukey to qualify and the potential winnings on top 10 @ 15/8 Its much the same every year whilst some countries bring the finished product and it doesnt improve Turkey, Greece and Ukraine bring works in progress writing of the top 10 chances of these 3 is foolish at any time. But why did I back Bosnia
![]() |
By:
Going back to Germany. Unlike most of songs it wouldn't sound out of place on the radio.
Many of you lot might nod off :p, but it's the type of thing the juries seem to be looking for these days. Much like they were in the heyday of the contest in the 70's and 80's |

France 1st |
By:
more dislikes than likes Milan - this has no chance from the draw - its a nice enough song just nothing special
![]() |
By:
France seems to have the best intro sequence in the contest....but the rest of the song is a flop.
By:
I'm always looking to see good engaging performance and staging but some dancers doing gymnastic type moves isn't that a bit well ermm rubbish?
By:
Its all gone quiet from Milan re France. He did this after Greece as well iirc, he's either sulking or trying to lay off and minimise his losses (again)

Italy

Italy 1st |
By:
beat me to it
By:
For me the falsest (if that's a word) price in the market.
By:
Been saying this ever since the draw. France and Italy cancel each other out to an extent drawn together. Does neither any favours
This is just as unlikely a winner as France to me |
By:
I'm still waiting to see this hugely charismatic performer.
The dull staging hardly helps either. |
By:
I'll let you guess if that means France should be 11 or Italy 200
![]() |
By:
Agree lads, no way is this entitled to be second fav on that showing.
Staging very uninspiring and will easily be forgotten from its draw unless they improve things sharply. |
By:
I'm with you on this one Bex. Be worried ![]() Her price seems to have been driven down by the strange belief that she's the new amy whinehouse. |
