Ian, Jade et al have had a shunt
show totally jinxed this week |
By:
Zoe and the know
Jade and Ian on PO'G show, dressed as ghouls |
By:
LOU must be seething, James Jordan just said that it is not just about the dancing, it is also about who is popular with the public.
By:
Apprently her Jive is Nat's 'dream dance' PMSL. Its her dream dance everyweek, you couldnt make it up.
By:
lol until next week.
By:
if they talk up Nat's dance again, hopefully the public will rebel and see the b.s.
That Jive looks stompy and frankly, woeful. |
By:
Anyone wanna lay my money on lowest individuel judges score, five or over.
By:
I layed £30@2.5, but that's enough for me. Craig looks ok this week.
By:
sry, couldn't get enough on myself m8
By:
ha ha, ty FLL wish it was more
By:
I think it is a 5 or more week but I'll pass on the Evens, thanks :)
By:
lol n1 squares.
GL mate. I hope Craig goes well......then forgets his steps ;) |
By:
11/10 with the b@ld one
By:
Are you also on 22 and over total lowest score?
Layed some 2.2 on that |
By:
yeah, really tiny tho
By:
Didnt think I would have much luck lol.
Hopefully a shade of odds on will tempt some. Also anyone looking to back 35 or under as highest score? If so what price are you looking for? |
By:
you can't get on with b@ldy either sean?
By:
I thought Zoe came across well on the O'Grady show - may have helped her voting numbers. Interesting Claudia said about Craig, 'This sounds like a final dance song' and also said, 'I don't want to talk about Craig wanting to get to Blackpool'. Maybe he's not going to get the support of a sympathetic edit tomorrow...? Plus, if he does a decent dance, which appears likely, the kind comments of panel and half-decent score won't help him either.
By:
I got all I could with baldy at 5/4.
Other bets, gone for Chris lowest scorer, and a bit on Ricky G. Johnny was spot on earlier in the week, no way should Craig have really been 1/5 for what is a nailed on 22-25 dance for him IMO. I was hoping some other firms would price it up, doesnt look that way though. |
By:
Tuffers on 5.
By:
Craig has always looked good in training though and then it all goes wrong on the sat.
1/5 doesn't look far off to me. Chris looked ok. I know opinions differ but I thought Nat looked ok, as did Phil and Ricky G. I'd expect all of those 4 to score over 25, so even if Craig does better than expected, he's still going to struggle to avoid bottom spot. |
By:
yeah, I'm with you on that one sean, and I also took the prices on Nat and Ricky G. I think Craig will get his best score tomorrow if he nails the routine.
By:
Possibly figgy, as you say max score probs 25 from Craig, although that doesnt make him 1/5 imo.
To be honest I would have everyone bar Ricky G, Chris and Craig 100+ in that market. |
By:
No matter how poor Nat is they will give her 6's and 7's and imo she isnt that bad.
By:
Nat looked dreadful - just not light enough on her feet. She reminded me of something out of the Roly Polys - remember, the mid-80s dance troupe?
By:
She performs it with zest and energy which means she gets away with not being great. Her size is a huge hinderance to her Latins, I am surprised they are as decent as they are to be honest.
By:
I've backed Mincer in that market. Has a 22 and a 23 in his bag, apparently Cha Cha isn't easy either.
By:
fwiw, I still think Jade is over-priced for top score at 8-1. She was first up last week so she won't be tomorrow, which is a big plus. Laila could be up first so the chance of a big score could disappear in the blink of an eye. Cannot see Ali's paso getting a really big score - it's too difficult a dance. Ditto, it is unlikely imo that Ricky W will get a really big score for a quickstep when he hasn't trained much, it's super fast and it looked like he went wrong just now at the end of ITT.
By:
How come Marlon King has been released to allow him to appear on Strictly? Just seen him closing tonights show! :-)
By:
I'm reinvesting in Laila at 18's. I feel her correct place in the market is comfortable 3rd favourite, 10's like she was before. not behind Phil who is relying on a whole lot of votes and luck , and certainly not behind Jade who has ZERO chance of winning. I expect the market to correct itself within the next 2 weeks.
By:
With Laila, the key thing is when she dances the salsa. If Anton has any sense, and that's seriously up for debate, he'd make sure they do the salsa next week cos regardless of a poor score she'd have a decent chance of escaping bottom 2 imo, with 9 couples still left in. The longer they leave it, the greater the risk.
By:
Anyone know if Anton has ever choreographed and performed a decent paso with any of his previous partners?
By:
not Kate! - they left on a Paso I think.
Did OK with Lesley and Patsy? |
By:
any thoughts regarding Craig, squares. I got to thinking, hometown crowd and chance of another mauling from judges.... decent chance of escaping bottom 2 again?
By:
yeah, it's an interesting one JR. He's obviously had the support to get him to Blackpool so will it all drop off straight away? Assume the story of him getting there will still play a big part this week and guess his family will all be there, so that's all good for him. Like you say, could easily get a mauling from the judges again and be bottom of the leaderboard so sympathy vote.
By:
Better value elsewhere for me - Jade at 16s with the jive and maybe Laila at 16s with the Paso.
By:
This week.
RickyW - tango Laila - Paso Tuffers - Rumba Jade - jive RickyG - salsa |
By:
agree squares, though wonder if paso could suit Laila quite well.
By:
Lads combos up
By:
Chris - foxtrot
