dennis seems over the moon did he back williams

Ronald Trump final was not to be
By:
mjw was always going to get at least one chance to get over the line.
By:
really fancy xintong to win the final now
By:
xintong will flatten williams. because he's more consistent than trump is from distance and that will get him into more frames
By:
different class break builder for sure, and much better to watch
By:
Willo should enter arena tomorrow wearing dark glasses and carrying a cane instead of his cue. Get inside this fellas head the way ronaldo couldn't.

can't see the chinese wonderkid being fazed by anything

Well, got my 33s bet into the final... Posted on 30/4 2.04pm on this thread, no aftertiming... But think he might get blown away in the final... Xintong on a different level so far, but you never know. No laying back, even for my stake, let it ride
I make Williams about 7/2, haven't looked at the betting |
By:
Judds very gracious in defeat tbf but doesn't seem haunted by crucible defeats like he used to be. Not sure if good or bad thing tbh.
By:
judd's had an absolute shocker there. 7-3 up and loses to someone who allegedly can't see properly
By:
WILLIAMS MIGHT BE TO CLEVER FOR HIM
By:
By:
dont see the problem with contact lenses, i have worn them for most of my life, can't see how he can't play snooker with them
By:
One thing's for sure, it'll be a very different game to Zhao v Wrongholed.
By:
he's an idiot if he has the op. not worth the risk. hamilton had it done and reckons it ruined things for him because the lights of the table are different than they used to be after the surgery
By:
if he plays like that and can't see properly then i reckon you should be more than happy not being able to see properly and not **** the pitch
By:
If it gets into a scrap, Williams will benefit, imo
But, I can see Xintong just running away, might back minus plenty |
By:
ridiculous that q u e e r is censored
By:
Wonders, can't believe he's that short
Normally no brainer to lay off, but gonna keep this one Sort of laying off by dabbling on Xintong minus on the hcap markets anyway |
By:
I didn't expect much from mark going into this but he has played well to get here & generally speaking has faced better opposition
I think 5/4 is about right |
By:
I've already taken my stake out from 12-4 in SF, I may hedge a little more think about it tomorrow
By:
You can just imagine uncle Barry now thinking what would be better for the sport a young Chinese player that’s gained redemption will make a massive impact for the sport in china strengthening the claim to move the WC finals to china and makes serious money or have the oldest ever world champion that allegedly cannot even see properly hmmm let me think
By:
A big puff piece on Sheffield and its green credentials during the MS interval of a world sf might suggest Baz with the help of his BBC minions is determined to try butter them up. Ball is in Sheffield city council court i feel.
By:
not sure how keen SCC will be - it took them 30 years to pay off the debt for the world student games
By:
The next darts world champion will get double what tomorrows snooker champion gets , who would have predicted that a few years back ? Zero chance it stays in Sheffield for me,as always money talks.
By:
I think it will definitely move, strange though that the been secured rights until 2032 I can't imagine they would do that if there was a chance of it going abroad.

well ive watched every crucible tournament, and if it goes from here i just wont be interested in it .
By:
It's great that it's keeping going but it's probably a question of how long rather than if it lasts at this stage. Tradition is all very well but the more Chinese and other non-UK nationals populate the top 32/64, how much does it continue to count for? I'd lose interest too but then I'm probably the past anyway, not so much the future.

What a great final in store.
Two different styles, pleasing to the eye. Can't see it being one-sided. Got a feeling Mark might win a frame needing snookers. Does that hit 1.01 nowadays? Say 1 snooker needed? As ever could be down to long potting and getting in to finish in 1 visit. The head to head favours Zhao most recently but only in best of 9s and nowt in it to base anything off. Good luck all. |
By:
yeah looking forward to the final - i thought a judd ronnie final was a certainty
i think nowadays the WC bears little relationship to what goes on the rest of the year. at one time every round of the UK champs was best of 17 - as were the semis of all ranking events. today many players have almost no experience of multi-session matches so the crucible comes as a shock to many of them |
By:
*also the UK final used to be best of 35
By:
*sorry best of 31
