Yeah, not saying he knew - it barely moved.

Really enjoying this, could be a crucible classic.
![]() we may even see a Winona !! I'm on Allen but only for fun stakes. |
By:
Contrast between the two matches is pretty stark. Allen gawping at table for about 90 secs there before tipping up to the red. Don't know whether it's a good or bad thing but the kids don't want to play snooker like this anymore, they want to pot and attack, fck this tippy tappy stuff

By:
That was a shot and a half, fair play.

Selby will grind him down

Enjoy it John,

I completely agree Pecker, Taylor in particular just cannot seem to help himself with his jibber jabber.
By:
I hope so S.S. Am lovely on Selby right now.
By:
Allen gets through this chamber he'd have earned it

That's a guy who has a strategy to carry out.

I'm a snooker purist peck, hardcore. This is my bag

Allen looking great so far. His safety play has been up there with Selby.
![]() |
By:
He's doing a Selby on Selby
![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
Allen is a very dangerous customer but I'm keeping the faith. After this session I'll have to get him onside a bit though having said that.
By:
Selby will sleep well tonight this won't phase him lol
He'll be getting his head ready for full on torture and Allen will need to be ready for it I do fear for one of the other two if Selby is in the final.. torture chamber maxed ![]() |
By:
All the Ronnie's will be rooting for Bracel I bet
By:
Yes John indeed,
By:
Selby exhausted, robbed of a frame by the frame will be amazed if this turns around,Allen will just keep grinding it out as long as he got infront he was always going to win,the books wren't stupid giving 11/8 Selby Allen was a monster bet,he was always the bet even if he lost those two in the other half no chance..
By:
And if Lucan Brecel wins i don't think i'll watch snooker ever again, disgusting filth pockets and him smashing them in at 100 mph, absolutely vile to watch would just sum the whole pockets farce if he won..

Has anyone had any trades on the "To reach the final market".?
I done some trades on this yesterday and some of them have now disappeared. The 4 runners are still there so its not like it has been partialled matched if a player has been knocked out. Im pretty sure the total matched on the market was about 54k last night and now it is 50K. Since I came back from the school run some trades on Si and Allen have vanished. anyone else? cheers |
By:
I just checked "voided bets" in my account and I have 8 voided trades from yesterday afternoon (12:45pm to 2.:20pm). Its actually put me in a better position but if i trade them again now, who knows if they will re appear later on. Very odd.
By:
Selby has been "tricked" by the speed of the table after reclothing and by a ball roll been out of prime position twice which probably could've meant 2 frame swing. Allen played as well as he can but Selby will stick to him like glue and once Allen's level drops, Selby, Ivan Drago like, will "BREAK" him.
Or Allen carries on and wins 17-14. One of the two ![]() |
By:
I have been informed that any bets after 1pm yesterday were voided as the market never went inplay.
By:
That would've been a new one
Play stopped due to head injury to the ref! Petulant Bullet alert! |

Gwan Gwan Si,

Thread title wants thoughts so..........................4 frames gone and not heard a phone go off!

By:
2nd thought. Change of comm to Dennis so change to Eurosport.
By:
It's like shelling peas for Si
By:
all this drooling over si, i thought bingtao and xintong were far better players. This kid is good but was atrocious in his game against mcgill, and wasn't that amazing in the other rounds. Yes, he is good, but come on, he is not that good.
By:
I bet Si practices 10 hours a day solid. Like a machine. Long matches he is in his element
By:
There's a touch of magic about this kid, imo.
Might be big bags he's loving but what a talent. 20 he is! |
By:
he'll get taken apart in the final, i still think luca will win this match anyway
By:
But it will be a whole new ball game against all-rounders like Selby/Allen.
By:
He's nice to watch, that's summat we need in snooker
By:
I didn't think there was a morning session - I was going to use this time to catch up last night's action. Now my whole day is out of whack....

I think if Virgo keeps going long enough it will just be all catchphrases. Quite enjoyed the bbc podcast he features on... Heard some the stories before...
