However well Williams is playing he couldn't have hand-picked a better draw. Let's see if the scoring continues into the quarter finals.

Mark Williams started the 2021 Championship in a similar impressive vein, then ran into a machine called Selby in the QFs, as I recall losing it in just 2 sessions.

It's going even better than expected,O'Sullivan 3/1 fav already am not surorised as i said last night he;s in the semis already so how could he be 5/1,time to lay a load off soon been betting him fir 6 months.,every single year it's sp predictable and he always gets great draws to do it with..
Only need Robertson to go and he will be 6/4..

Allen is a pathetic, bloated physical and mental slob

Ronnie would have a harder match if he had a bye

not convinced he'll necessarily come thru his semi providing he comes thru his qtr

My money will be made by then anyway..don't understand why O'sullivan was sucg a big price mark allens been dire, same in the first round o'sullivan was 1/3 to beat gilbert beat before he started same with allen,he talks a good game that allen,if o'sullivan had beat him 13-3 13-4 wouldv'e been no shock at all from what i've seen..Will be the same if Mc Guire gets through that will be another drubbing, more easy money on the handicap betting..these players are the players he loves playing..He had the perfect draw..

Xintong in danger of being trounced. Looks completely out of his depth.

Maguire 11 Xintong 5. Xintong thoroughly exposed as a potter, and little else. If the potting isn't working he has virtually nothing to fall back on. Maguire knows that and has just turned the screw.

no way Selby loses to this overrated fatboy..lucky to be 4-4..Selby could just be getting some mojo back..slow burner

don't rule out Judd either

both being disrespected but u know what the saying is about form and class

Maguire reaching the quarters is a bit of a shock

I’d love to see him win one though

Must be the easiest money ever on these O'sullivan matches feet up one frame to play and then onto another mug, unreal draw he's had i still can't figure out why he was still 5/1 last night incredible had nothing to beat,-2.5 frames against allen 8/11 Allens been playing his worst ever snooker..Will be the same against Mc Guire can't see him doing much better either..handicaps will bew a snip again..Prices are now 11./4 O'sullivan if Robertson goes out he's a certainty that 11/4 will be odds on..

The draw ruined the tournament by having all the potters in the bottom half, was a huge advantage i bet by the time the final comes round the bottom half finalist will have had only half as much table time as the top half,a very onesided final could be on the cards if that happens..

Leading up to Sheff I only had 3 on the radar Ronnie Robbo and Higgins although after Higgins collapsed in the last comp he only just stayed on my list Regarding the draw I was looking for the top v bottom odds I would have been happy with 4/5 ish for the bottom to win Unibet in fact did a very generous 11/10 I even had to get my Mr Magoo glasses out in case I had read it wrong for me I'm still happy with the bottom to win Williams has been playing well but has played nobody yet

Cashed my trade on Yan in the outright market - I ended up with 31 average price because I kept going in again as he drifted and drifted!

Thought he was then just ok against Wakelin (who was outstanding imo) but Yan wasn't killing off enough frames in one visit. I still think he beats a sub-par Selby here but I'm out an acceptable price. He still just looks like he is "scrambling" a bit too often for my liking.

bad miss there from Yan - he'll miss pots when it really matters whereas Selby won't

There wasn't much more milage in my outright trade. This match odds market (Yan at 2.3+) has just loved Selby imo and I got out during the brief window where the market looked to finally correct itself a bit imo. Happy enough - because i can't remember the last time i played a winning trade quite so badly!

Obviously I would like to see Yan win this match - just to be proved right - but even then my liability on the outright has prevented me from having what would have been a cracking good winning trade in the match odds.CryLaugh

Selbys playing at about 75%,not good enough lost far to many close frames,i don't believe he went their thinking he could win he just wanted to not turn up,more easy money just need Wilson for the treble..

Anto have to play a bit better than he did in R1 but we know he can around this track. Vafaei was a very good draw for judd, mcgill not so much.

Judd has been there for the taking all season - never more so than in the Turkish Open (that he won)!

Perhaps LTT will be the man to take advantage of this season-long sub standard Trump - but plenty have been given the opportunity this year - and most have failed. He's had a poor season by his standards - but he's still won a lot of matches that he shouldn't have won (with his c-game) including going all the way in Turkey.

So many have failed to punish him that I think winning in Turkey was bad for him because he now sounds like he is actually in the process of trying to convince himself that his c-game might be good enough to win. Maybe LTT can put him right on that score but I'm not holding my breath yet.

if someone had told me last year when trump was 3/1, that he would win his first round, be 4-4 in his second round, selby would be 11-10 down, robbo would be 4-2 down and Trump would be trading at 7.4 I would have said you were out of your mind
