Ding0 doing what Ding0 does best, throws in a shocker when in contr0l

Huge B000ket sighted

Decent game, this. Unlike Filthy v Noppy!
By:
Kyren thought that was too much of Terry Griffith's thin cu~ts
By:
Ding blows an unbelievable chance to steal for 9-8 (wrong side of the blue).... 9-8 Kyren instead.
By:
well lucky 4 the chav..Ding went as low as 1.09 to nick that frame..unbelievable jeff
By:
The way ding played the pink, you could tell how he was twitching over it, eye going like crazy too as he sat down. Same old.
By:
WAC..hit that too hard
By:
some pot
By:
gotta feel for Ding a bit there,Kyren had all the luck going there after failing to finish things off himself..some good potting throughout
By:
All so predictable,so much for shocks in first round, all going to plan so far O'Sullivan versus Bingtao or Wilson in final.
By:
don't discount the boyo or john boy
By:
Class interview with wilson on the eurosport. Put the bbc to shame. Wilson in a pretty good place now for sure.
By:
I don't see how a player from the top half of the draw can win,the amount of time spent at the table whoever gets through will be exhausted, only have to look at the players and the bottom half all the matches will be done in double quick time..Huge advantage..
By:
The dynamic of Kyren sitting in the chair beside Ronnie telling us how he believes he's the best in the world, when it's not two years he entered the final against Ronnie with little belief he could win at all. A lot can change in 2 years i guess, maybe he truly does believe this time.
By:
Actually looking at his draw it's not quite as slow as i thought, can see him thrashing Bingham he could be the Peter Ebdon equivalent world champion,he got a lucky escape so could be destiny..
By:
Bingtao 6/4 to beat Selby,O'Sullivan 8/11 -2.5 frames and Wilson evens to beat Bingham -2.5 could do Bingtao 8/11 +2.5 all look obvious to me

By:
i'm on 10-5 sangkham correct score please, please, please Luca one more frame
By:
finish it next frame please Nopp
By:
Was that pre-match pandora? Great pick if so!
By:
I backed a far less impressive 1.07 on Nopp when it went 9-5

Shocking case of GBH ongoing on T2 this afternoon. Didn't really like Pages demeanour pre-match but not as if he's butchered a lot in fairness to him.

One of MJW's best mates apparently - wouldn't want to be his enemy!

Gave his mate a frame there...

As i was saying on another thread
that's the best i've ever seen anyone play ever by a mile, that Jackson page he never had a chance absolutely insane stuff,i'm sure it has something to do with the buckets, but that sesson without dubt was the the most flawless considering he was winning the frames by potting shots that were 1 in 10 just to get in..Of course that means he will be dire next match, they never play like that again.. |
By:
Had a lay of wonder boy. Mags will be inspired by him. Think this could be the match of the second round !! Layed @ 1.35
By:
O'sullivan prices will completely crash if Mc Guire gets through,he will have two virtual walkovers through to the semi finals you could be getting 5/1 for him and he will be in the semi finals..surprised the prices haven't gone..
By:
Maguire going in to this match as 2nd fav is really helping him as he's playing like the pressure is off, if this stays close my money will be on Maguire see it out the stronger.
Williams is playing awesome stuff, I fancy him beat yan in next round then take Bingham out to reach the final against Higgins |
By:
Why was Maguire such a big price? I thought 2's was big, but 365 went bigger. Xintong can't be used to these longer matches, and it strikes me his game is all about flashy brilliance. I can't see him digging in if it gets tough.
By:
gj - did you have a few shekels on Noppon to beat Brecel? He's not without a chance in R2 against Higgins, but he needs to start well. I actually thought O'Sullivan would be shorter than he is to beat Allen - not that I think he should be. Allen said he had been feeling unwell just before the tournament, and thought it could be COVID, although it wasn't. Let's hope that we get a bit of needle in this one. If so, you'd have to think it would help Allen. After a very average 1st round, things should start improving today. I'm really looking forward to Selby v Bingtao.

JV and Hendry in the box as well. Perfect.
By:
147 alert! Ronnie................
By:
Not to be.
By:
Didn't gobe, though chucked a few shekels on the outright so see how far can get with that! Dunno did brecel turn up, but liked what i saw of noppon anyway. Solid and very tidy.
See the two sides of Ronaldo this morn. Thought he was acting bit of an **** with the replacement in the previous frame, but that was class there. Don't know many players would have done that. |
By:
Yes, he looks very focused and is playing very well. Good early signs for thegiggilo, and many others I suspect. Noppon only went down 13-12 to Selby a couple of years ago, so he has a chance as long as he starts well. I'm really looking forward to seeing Selby v Bingtao later. We should be in for a real old-school Crucible slow-burner.

This Mark J Williams character strikes me as a decent player. It’s a wonder that the commentators haven’t come up with a nickname for him.
I’ll throw my hat into the ring with this effort : "The High Scoring Scottish Robot”. Has a nice ring to it wouldn’t you say? |
By:
Possibly Alun - if he was scottish!
