Looking ahead a bit anyone think Theppy is a decent outsider to do for Higgins - can lay Higgins in the shortie range (in the 1.2s)

Theppy certainly has the firepower to blow JB away, but he's equally likely to cough up chance after chance and gift the match.  A risky proposition, but one who could certainly collect.

Yep, think it could of course go any way, but you are getting great odds on Theppy IMO - much riskier backing Higgins very short IMO, as he can also put in some poor ones at times.

Last H2H in a proper match, Theppy beat Higgins 5-4 too.

I thought Yan Bintao was big at 28 (at least for a trade) in the outright market, given the other players in that quarter of the draw. Yet despite Selby looking (and playing) like a shadow of his former self, plus Page beating Hawkins, the Big Boy has drifted out to 30 - so i have gone in again!

Impressive suit from The Butcher.

If Butch gets to the final, I'd like to see him come out dressed as The Riddler, given afer all that he is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. Words I believe originally attributed to David Vine, or even Roy Cropper.

Buckets back this year, Butch plays a 9 ball cut down the rail. Hits the rail and still dr0ps

Talking of charity shops, what on earth has happened to Walker's 'Old Trusty' grey suit and waistcoat?  So far I've only seen the dark blue one that only ever used to come out for a big semi-final night at the Masters or the closing stages at the Crucible.

He layed 14k @ 1.14 when Allen was just about to win the 15th frame - then more at 1.10!

When: 18 Apr 22 21:56
Ah, I thought you meant he was the backer (more akin to his usual stakes).  That will explain why Tubbs was such a massive price, then.

Don't know whats happened to Mark Allen, absolutely abysmal never seen him play that badly before so low on confidence hadicap betting will be interesting against O'Sullivan,he will want to hammer him can't see Allen winning more than 8 even if he imprived, this could be a complete skaughter..

Tubbs has got (or at least has had, I've not read anything recently) A LOT of stuff going on in the background (splitting up from his missus, being declared bankrupt, CSA etc).

Another monster of a steal for Wakelin.  Big Boy could have been virtually home and hosed by now, instead it's 3-3.

He's certainly been v slack, often in execution, too.  Does make you wonder about that outright drift.  Did someone know all was not quite well?!
