The China syndrome officially ended at 1 o clock this afternoon. Didn’t get the memo!
Allen is becoming the new centuries king, be nice if he could add a few more titles with it and become consistently the top player we always knew he could be. Will go close to the uk if he can maintain this level of form. |

He was 2-5 down to L.Highfield last week, and none of this would have happened had Highfield finished him off. I've backed him a few times outright at Sheffield, and he's played like this sometimes - but not sustained it. Fabulous stuff.

He’s an underachiever isn’t he, maybe even a chronic one for all the talent he has. May be down to belief, not sure for all his outer swagger he believed enough in himself and badly needed to mature which I think is happening this year.

 yes it is lata, and wins v expected winsI do also watch a lot of snooker though when I can, I'm not just a numbers man, but I like my eyes to be telling me the same things that the numbers are, not mixed messages |

Fair point wonders, it’s not bad. Calling him a chronic underachiever is probably harsh. One disappointing stat though - one qf in last 7 years at the worlds. That’s just not good enough, some poor defeats there.
